What is the Dress Code?

Answer

We would love everyone to dress up in their best outfits for our big day! The dress code is formal or black tie optional. Ladies can wear a floor length gown, a fancy cocktail dress, or a dressy pant suit! For the gentlemen, a tuxedo is not required but can be worn if you choose! Otherwise, a formal suit and tie works great. The bridesmaids will be wearing light blue and blue and white floral patterned dresses, while the groomsmen will be sporting classic black tuxedos. Please refrain from wearing jeans, t-shirts, shorts, flipflops, and sneakers!

Can I bring my children?

Answer

We love your children and welcome them to attend the afternoon wedding ceremony! However, to allow all of our guests to relax and enjoy the evening, the reception is adult only attendance, unless your invitation states otherwise.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate guests formally invited on the wedding invitations. Thank you for understanding!

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 2pm sharp at Assumption Roman Catholic Church in Wildwood Crest, NJ. Please arrive at least 15 minutes before start time! Cocktail hour will begin at 5pm at the Icona's outdoor Star Bar.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! The drinks are on us and the hangover is on you so get ready to celebrate!

Will there be transportation?

Answer

We have ensured that all the recommended hotels are within walking distance to the reception space, so we will not be providing transportation.

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes! The venue offers complimentary valet parking, and there is also ample street parking available.

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Actually, its a bit of everything! The cocktail hour will be on the beach at the hotel's beachside bar, which will include a tented, covered area. The beach bar does have solid flooring, but the sand is just millimeters away! The ceremony and reception will both be indoors!

What is the wedding weekend itinerary?

Answer

We have lots of fun activities planned! We will be hosting a "night before" cocktail hour from approximately 9pm-10pm on Thursday, May 23rd. If you are already in town, please stop by The Waterfront restaurant in Wildwood to have a drink with the bride and groom the night before our wedding! We will also host a breakfast the day after the wedding at The Icona from approximately 9am-11am! We can't wait to share our first breakfast as husband and wife with all of our friends and family. If you plan on coming to either of these events, please RSVP via our "RSVP" tab by April 12th!
