Meet The Ladies
Maid of Honor
My best friend, sister, and Maid of Honor.. Funny story about the way our friendship began. When I first met Chineze I perceived her as "the girl with the attitude". She didn't speak and wore a permanent resting face; and if you know me its a little ironic to be perceiving someone else that way. Little did I know, that girl who didn't speak was secretly shy and the face that told nothing was hiding layers to the beautiful human who would one day become my friendship soulmate. There's never a moment she isn't there for me. I mean that in every sense of the phrase. Chineze has been down for my crazy adventures from the moment we became locked in. Anywhere from taking a day trip to Atlanta just for a food tour or driving across town to the mall because there's a necklace I can't stop thinking about, 9 times out of 10 you will find her riding shot gun. In regards to matters of the heart, we've shared some of the hardest life experiences and always end up laughing out of the sheer fact that no one would ever believe these things happen to us. As we get ready to go through this life changing experience, I couldn't imagine anyone else by my side.

Yrva, Adler's youngest sister, holds a special place in my heart. Before ever meeting, Adler would describe her as the "baby" of the family, but with a strong and fierce personality that made her the protector of her siblings. She’s the no-nonsense one, always looking out for those she loves and ensuring they’re cared for. There’s a depth to her that’s only selected few get the true pleasure of experiencing. On the outside, she’s fashionable, bold, and always the life of the party. But beneath that is someone who has a genuine, caring heart. She has always made me feel welcomed and valued as part of the family. I feel truly blessed to have her support and her blessing in marrying her brother. The bond they share is so strong, and it means the world to me that she has embraced our love. I can see how deeply she cares for him, and knowing that she’s placed her trust in me is a gift I’ll always cherish.

Adler's sister, or more so, his hype woman. He describes her as always rooting for him and having his back through anything. He can always call her whenever he's in need, and the same goes for her. Adler has always supported her growth and admires the way she cares for and provides for her daughter, Avry (his first and only niece who we both adore). From the moment Adler and I formed a relationship, Margareth has been in our corner, offering her unwavering support. I remember the first time I met her, and I naturally gravitated toward her because of how infectious her personality was. Margareth doesn’t need a loud presence to make an impact—she has this unique way of lighting up an entire room with her warmth and positive energy. She’s the type of sister who genuinely wants to see you win in life, and it shows in everything she does. Her generosity knows no bounds, and yet, she carries herself with such grace—humble, well-mannered, and deeply compassionate. I feel so blessed to have her in my life, as my future sister-in-law.

Kartika and I have known each other for more years than I can count. I had no idea when we first met that she would become such an incredible friend to me. Kartika is one of the most generous and selfless people I have ever met. She has the biggest heart, always putting others before herself, and giving her all to the people she loves. Whether it’s a kind word, a helping hand, or just being there when you need her, Kartika never hesitates to show how much she cares. We've shared countless hours of laughter and endless conversations, and our friendship has grown stronger with every passing year. Kartika's genuine kindness is something that I admire deeply, and I'm so fortunate to experience this beautiful being inside and out. Having her by my side on this special day means the world to me.

Paris and I became acquainted back in high school, meeting through mutual friends, but it wasn’t until years later that our shared love of singing brought us closer together. For the past 7 years, we've sung side by side on our church praise team, and through that time, our friendship has strengthened into something truly special. Those moments have not only deepened our bond but also shown me how truly special Paris is. Paris is the friend you call when you want to laugh until your sides hurt, the one who brings joy and light to every room she enters. Her wit and honesty make her one-of-a-kind, and our time together has been filled with memories I cherish. But there’s so much more to Paris than just the good times. Beneath her vibrant spirit is a heart full of sensitivity and care, a side that only those closest to her get to see. When Paris loves, she loves with everything she has, fiercely and unconditionally. She is the kind of friend who stands by you, celebrates with you, and lifts you up when you need it most. Having Paris by my side on my wedding day is a true blessing, and I couldn’t imagine this special day without her.

My fellow Altidor-able (I've always claimed to be the 5th Altidor sister)! Nathalie and I officially connected in the halls of Flanagan High school, as we both shared that mutual glance that read "I don't really know her but I think I want to." I first met Nathalie when she began visiting our church with her older sister. Around that time we were mere strangers, and almost instantaneously we became so much more. I don't think I laugh as much with anyone else as I do with Nathalie. Like Chineze she has unfortunately been subjected to my bright ideas that always make for a great story, but more than likely a horrible suggestion. As one of my closest friends, Nathalie has the ability to be completely honest with me, even when it’s hard to hear. Her honesty is always filled with love, and I appreciate it more than I can say. She understands me in a way few others do—sometimes without me even having to explain how I’m feeling. I'm so honored to have her stand with me on my wedding day.

My beautiful friend, Denise. My "soft life sister". I genuinely feel like I've known her my entire life. Denise and I bonded through our spouses over our shared love for fashion, aesthetics, coffee recipes, and our favorite Youtuber. She embodies elegance with a touch of sass, proving that being a fellow classy girl doesn’t mean being timid. She has a way of speaking her mind with such poise that you’ll be grateful for her honesty. With her, you get the perfect blend of sophistication and straight talk, all served with a side of charm. Who knew when we met just a few years ago, that she would be someone I would hold so dear to my heart. Although I may be farther along in age, I genuinely look up to her in so many ways. Denise blessed me with my very first God-daughter, who continues to put an endless smile on my face. We share a running joke that maybe one day we'll open a coffee shop together, but for now I'm just glad to call her my friend and bridesmaid.

Kerren and I have been friends for years, and although our friendship was unexpected, it’s become something incredibly special to me. From the start, I knew based on the way our personalities agreed and our energies complimented each other, that we would create an impenetrable bond. Kerren’s infectious personality always lights up any room, and she has this incredible ability to make life more fun and meaningful. She’s real in every sense of the word, never afraid to speak the truth or offer advice when you need it. Her passion and sense of humor is unmatched, but she’s also deeply empathetic, always wearing her heart on her sleeve. Beyond being a wonderful friend, Kerren is an amazing mother to one of our beautiful flower girls. Her love and nurturing heart for Kennedy is truly inspiring. I’m so grateful to have her by my side on such a special day.
Bridesmaid
My amazing friend! I’ve known Christine for what feels like forever. We met when Christine, through a mutual family member, attended our church service one evening. God definitely brought her into my life for a reason. She’s witnessed my journey from a naive young girl to the woman I am today, and her understanding of me is unparalleled. Christine knows what I’m feeling without needing any explanation, and her presence brings me clarity when things seem uncertain. She’s been my shoulder to cry on, the one who helps me laugh through tears and shares in the joy that makes me laugh until I’m moved to tears. She’s my sister, my confidant, my mentor and my friend. I am so incredibly fortunate to have her as my bridesmaid.
Meet The Fellas
Best Man
My best bro, my right-hand man, and my partner in crime! I met Bryan back in 2010 at FAU. At first, I thought he was just this cool and timid Jamaican guy (he's fully American, by the way, lol) who then wore choker shell necklaces, Aeropostale bootcut jeans, Sperry's, and polos. We met officially through our mutual friend Jordan Chang, and from there, I essentially kidnapped him into my life. I told him, "You're going to be my best friend." He hesitated to commit early on, but eventually, the rest was history. He's always been a genuine and loyal brother to me. I can trust and count on him for everything. Bryan has always been patient and understanding with me and never turns his back on me. Through my hardest times, he's been there. When I need prayer and uplifting, he's always there. When I need a turn-up partner or a hype man, he's never not there. I'm happy to give him all these titles: my best friend, my worship team leader, my best bro, my church pastor, my favorite roommate, and now my BEST MAN! A cool thing about him is there's two of him. If you know his dad, Pastor Cal (who's officiating our wedding), you'll realize they're the same person. I'm honored to have both of my best bros by my side on one of the most important days of my life. #Trifecta

AKA YOOOOODAAAA! We go way back to our FAU days circa 2008. Initially, we connected because we were both active student leaders, but eventually, we created a special bond and genuine friendship. Jordan used to try to bully me and knew how to push my buttons. To this day, I think he thoroughly enjoys making me upset with his rude and sarcastic ways. In return, I just annoy him to maintain that balance. In all seriousness, Jordan has been very dependable, and we've had great experiences growing and planning various events and trips together. Jordan sometimes knows me more than I know myself and will oftentimes challenge me to reach my full potential. He's been a real one and as much as he's tried to get rid of me, I stick around. I appreciate him for being true, if you knew Jordan circa 2008 then you know Jordan now because he's genuinely a consistent and loyal person.

Also known affectionately as "mon neveu préféré". In 2012, I served as Widlin's Assistant Dean during his pledge process, earning the title of "Unc." Widlin's maturity, commitment, and dedication during his journey to join was quite remarkable. I always admired him as my fraternity brother and our bond as "Unc" and "Phew" blossomed from there. Widlin and I have consistently inspired and pushed each other to grow. He excels as a friend, family member, and businessman. Whenever I face real-life decisions, I always turn to him for guidance and advice. I'm grateful to have Widlin in my corner; he's a well-rounded individual who enriches my life in countless ways. Another outstanding thing about Widlin is he will always be your #1 Cheerleader when you’re doing GREAT but also be the toughest coach when he believes you can go HARDER! Despite being slightly older (7 days to be exact lol), I now view Widlin as one of my most influential mentors. Side note, we both love to run so do not be surprised if we do a 5k on the wedding day! :-)

(Our sweet goddaughter’s dad, lol) entered my life during his freshman year at FAU in 2009. He was originally slated to be my line brother in our fraternity, but circumstances shifted. At first, he was like the little brother I never wanted—annoying. However, over time, I witnessed his growth and maturity, and we began to build a stronger bond. He eventually joined our fraternity a year after me, and I had the privilege of serving as his Assistant Dean of Pledge. Throughout life’s journey, I’ve seen him evolve, but one thing that has remained consistent is his selflessness and his wise words of encouragement and support. He’s truly a great person inside and out, and my swaggy photo partner. If you see any pictures we take together, they’re always on point. We call each other Kid n' Play because on the dance floor, we’re a dynamic duo! Look for David blazing the dance floor at the wedding. Conversations with David are the most uplifting—we’re always intentional about pouring into each other, allowing ourselves to make mistakes and learn from one another. We also make sure to acknowledge our strengths and show ourselves the same love we show others. That’s my guy, and I love him and his family deep.

During my grad school years in Tampa, I met Ricky Hart through my previous roommate, who happened to be his fraternity brother. Ricky was always cool and energetic, his vibrancy lit up any room he entered. One thing about Ricky is that he's a very "go with the flow" type of person, he's all about good vibes. Despite not living close by, our connection has always remained strong because Ricky genuinely cares about his loved ones and I care about him. One of my favorite memories with Ricky was when I barely knew him as just having mutual friends; he was like a main point person who helped surprise me for my birthday in Tampa where I was living away from my close friends and family at the time. Goes to show you how he just cares about helping others, because at that time I was a stranger and he owed me nothing but he was just as invested in the process like we knew each other for years. And let me tell you, this man knows the lyrics to every single rap song out there, I kid you not. He might just grab a mic at the reception.

The real Haitian sensation. He's always been a very respectful and humble friend whom I am proud to call my brother. I first met Saul when he was joining our fraternity in 2013. I have never had a negative or bad interaction with Saul, besides when he thought it was funny to throw me into the pool with my phone in my pocket. Oh, yea I was pissed! lol But he was forgiven. On the bright side, he is a true and nice friend. I can call Saul for anything til this day! What's also cool is that he's a twin, and all three of us get along so well that they made me an honorary "Triplet'' lol. Saul used to crash at my apartment whenever he was down south after he moved back to Ft. Myers following undergrad, so he's for sure my honorary "Roomie" too! Saul is my guy, and we've always had each other's backs for real. He also had the great honor of marrying one of my good friends, which only made our family grow stronger.

My brother from another mother, joined our fraternity back in 2015 at FAU. At that time, I was living in Tampa, so our initial interactions were over the phone. Shortly after joining, he was deployed, so it wasn't until around 2017 that we met in person. Even before our physical meeting, I sensed Ed would be a lifelong friend due to his brotherly efforts and consistent support. I deeply value him; he's always affirming and provides the strength and validation I need to persevere. When I envision having a little brother, I think of someone like him – educated, intelligent, and dedicated to personal growth through life's challenges. Whenever we're together, you can expect some excitement. Ed has consistently been there for me, and I know I can rely on him whenever necessary. Additionally, he was among the first to know about Shamar, and I'm grateful he'll be by my side on our special day.

I've always admired this young GOAT. I crossed paths with him around 2016 when he was gearing up to join our fraternity at FAU, shortly after I moved back from Texas. Back then, Willy was humble and quiet, but let me be frank, he's turned into a total asshole, excuse my language lol. But in all seriousness, you know what? Despite his cool guy ego, I appreciate him because deep down, he really cares for those who want to succeed. Willy has this knack for sharing his opinions, and sometimes, amidst the sarcasm, it turns out to be great advice. We clicked right away when we first met, and he's been there for me whenever I've needed him. We might not talk every day, but we both know that at the end of the day, we're just a call away and we've got each other's backs. That's my little bro fo sho!

Boy oh boy! Jamar and I go waaaaaay back. Although we met during undergrad at FAU, you would think our connection runs deeper than just college buddies. We've argued, turned up, and bonded like biological brothers. Jamar may have been the first college friend my parents met; that's how close we are. He's truly family to me, and we've witnessed each other's families grow and transition over time. Jamar is not just a friend; he's my favorite DJ! He's been reliable and consistent through thick and thin. I even had the privilege of serving as his Assistant Dean of Pledge when he joined our fraternity. But beyond that, our friendship is something deeper than imaginable. Jamar will always be the big-little brother I've always wanted.
Flower Girls
Kennedy and Avry, our two delightful flower girls, are full of life and personality. Kennedy, the daughter of Kerren, one of our bridesmaids, is a born performer. Whether she’s entertaining a crowd or just one person, she shines. She loves soccer, gymnastics, and is always excited about school. Avry, the daughter of Margareth, the groom’s sister and also one of our bridesmaids, is an incredible dancer. On and off the stage, her talent speaks for itself. She’s not only gifted but also smart and loves to tap into her trendy & fashionalble side. When she’s not practicing for her next big competition, she enjoys spending time with her family. We can’t wait to have these two wonderful girls take part in our special day!
