We're getting married!

Sam and Ryan first met through their mutual friend, David. While David and Ryan had been high school best friends, Sam met David through work her senior year of college. The three of them became regulars at Parkway Bowl, spending many nights enjoying their $5 beer pitcher deal. Ryan asked Sam on what would be their first date, a John Mayer concert, on September 11th, 2019. The next few months would be spent getting to know each other, while watching sunsets and trying all of the happy hour spots in Ocean Beach. In front of the OB Christmas Tree on December 20th, Ryan asked Sam to be his girlfriend, and they have been together ever since! On March 22nd, 2024, Sam and Ryan went on their first international trip together down to Puerto Vallarta. Sam had no clue Ryan had spent the past few months coordinating with their families, friends, hotel staff, and photographer to arrange a beautiful proposal. At sunset, Ryan led Sam down to the beach, where he asked her to marry him. They spent the night calling family and friends, enjoying the beautiful sunset, and watching fireworks.
