We will hold our marriage ceremony on September 25, 2021 regardless of the situation. However, due to the restrictions in place there are some requirements we need to follow. - Please wear a mask inside the church until you arrive at your seat - For the reception you must show proof vaccination to enter - Please wear a mask inside the reception venue at all times unless you are seated at your chair or outside - Please no mingle inside the reception, mingling can only occur outside - Dancing will take place outside (we will provide heaters outside but please dress accordingly)
Starting September 7th all fully vaccinated non-Canadians are welcome to cross the border for leisure purposes and without having to quarantine. Airlines require a negative COVID-19 molecular test (not a rapid test) taken in the last 72 hours prior to letting passengers board the flight. You also need to download the ArrivCAN App and keep a copy of the receipt easily accessible.
Right now, our guest attendance remains the same, no "distanced" seating, no masks when seated, no mingling, no dancing inside but we will have an outdoor dance floor setup.
We kindly ask that you consider formal attire.
No, we do not have a registry. We appreciate your presence on this special day and are grateful you are wanting to celebrate with us! There will be a small table by the wedding favours for cards and well wishes.
The ceremony is scheduled to start at 1:45 pm. We would kindly ask that you arrive approximately 15min early to avoid any confusion and to comfortably find your seat.
For B.C./Canadian citizens you will be required to show proof of having received one dose of a federally approved vaccine to attend the ceremony and reception. For other nationalities you will need to show your ArrivCan receipt and Passport to attend the ceremony and reception (as well as to access other non-essential services across B.C. such as restaurants).
