Wedding Party

Marcela

Bride

Marcela has been the brightest, and most special person to me from the first day we met. Our first date was filled with a lot of subjects that many would never dare to speak of right away: our plans for a relationship, marriage, kids, the future. It was as if we were planning out the rest of our lives, and it was only the first time speaking in person. Since then, there has been countless laughs, shared experiences and love. We have continued in that spirit to this day, and we look forward to sharing our marriage experience with friends and family. She doesn't remember, but when I proposed I told her that she was genuinely one of the nicest, and greatest people I have ever known. I look forward to every day of the rest of our lives together.

Travis

Groom

Travis is the best friend and partner I ever could have asked for. I have spent more time laughing and being silly with him than I can even measure. He is dependable, caring, thoughtful and kind. We are similar in many ways and also opposite in just as many ways. One of my favorite things about him, Travis loves helping people. From our families to our friends, he is always willing to lend a hand with whatever needs to be done, and he will do it with grace and patience. Though he loves his solitude and I’d rather be a social butterfly, our values have always aligned and what we both want for our future together. I cannot wait to see the husband he becomes. Every day we get closer to "I do" the more emotional I become because he is way more than I could have imagined for myself. Travis is my favorite human. I am so blessed having him in my life and so thankful I get to keep him.

Sarah

Maid of Honor

We technically met in middle school, when Sarah wrote about me in her diary, "Camilo's little sister looks like fun I want to be her friend." Years later we became closer through Younglife events and small groups like "Sweet time" with our mentor Becki. Sarah has been a constant friend in my adult life, always there when I need her whether to cry or to just be silly with. Since day one Sarah has always had my best interest at heart, and gives great advice and perspective when I need it most. One of my favorite things about Sarah in recent years is her relationship with Travis and how quickly they were able to become great friends.

Catalina

Bridesmaid

She's the much funnier sister, and my oldest friend. She is smart, witty, talented, hysterical and always ready for a good dance party. We have a rather large family with a complicated history but one thing has always remained is my relationship and friendship with my little sister. If you've ever been around us playing "heads up" then you know we have our own special language where we don't need any words to communicate. No one has made me laugh harder than Cat. We have shared a love for the outdoors, movies, and making fun of our mother for most of our lives.

Megan

Bridesmaid

We became friends in 7th grade history class passing an orange notebook back and forth giggling about boys and pointless drama. Megan and I have had a constant friendship despite having different social circles through high school and after. No matter how much time passes between visits or conversations we always pick up where we left off. We were born one year and one day a part and are different in a lot of ways but have more inside jokes, shared more laughter, and life experiences than most people can dream of. She's the only friend who can match my movie-quoting ability and someone who will always keep it real.

Steph

Bridesmaid

We met because she started dating one of my best guy friends, however that was just our introduction. Within the first 5 minutes of meeting each other (at a Harry Potter Pub Crawl) we immediately became close friends bonding over more things than either of us expected. She is silly and kind, incredibly talented at planning, decorating, and such a great listener and friend. Steph is someone you can get all dolled up with to go out and/or hang out in sweats all day with snacks and a pizza. Steph has made it quite clear from day one how much I deserve a good man and she was ready to fight anyone who dared to hurt me.

Christina

Bridesmaid

We met through a small group called "yabba" although it technically started on Zoom. Do you ever meet people and know that they were going to be lifelong friends? It quickly became evident for Christina and I when she asked a select few of us to stay on a zoom call for some harmless gossip with mutual "friends." We have shared so many life experiences in such a short amount of time with more laughter and late night McDonalds venting sessions than I could measure. Christina is fierce, spontaneous, joyful and fun. We share a love for silly things like high school musical and the Jonas brothers. We have laughed till we cried and also had many deep and serious conversations. It is rare to find someone with such a depth and passion for life and I am truly honored to have her in my circle.

Jenna

Bridesmaid

There are many words I could use to describe Jenna. She is fierce, smart, loyal, hilarious, organized, and humble to name a few. She is another friend I had an instant connection with (whether I wanted to or not!) and now I wouldn't have it any other way. She is 10x cooler than her really cool job, we have bonded over things that not many people can which created a much deeper bond much sooner than either of us expected. Jenna is always ready for a good time and always brings the deep belly laughs and all the jokes/puns you could imagine. I didn't know I needed another strong woman and friend in my life when I met Jenna, and I am so thankful I did because I truly could not imagine getting married without her standing beside me.

Eisley Jay

Flower Girl

I have loved Eisley since before she was born. I have been close with her parents for nearly half my life. Eisley is my favorite snuggler, and the sweetest little girl I’ve ever known. She has had the title “flower girl” way longer than I’ve even known Travis and she has been rehearsing since she learned that Travis and I planned on getting married, way before we even got engaged. She is silly, she is sweet, she is compassionate, mature and she has a love for people, singing and dancing that is just so precious. She is generous with her love and her hugs, and is never too cool for me, at least not yet.

Finn David

Ring Bearer

Oh Finn, brother of Eisley and very different from his sister, but our love for him is the same. He is tiny but mighty and makes you work for his affection. I lived with the Jensen's for most of Finny’s life, through his first cakes, first steps, first dances any many more fun and special memories. We have bonded over music, chasing each other through the halls, games and gymnastics. Finn is very silly and I will never take for granted how special it is to be loved by Finny boy. He is shy by nature and not quite the performer that his sister is, and he has been a fan of Travis since day one. Finny has also had the title of “ring bearer” since his mom was pregnant with him.

Adam Zuro

Officiant

Once upon a time Adam Zuro use to pay me to watch his three children, but that is just how we met. We quickly became like family. He has been a wonderful example of what a father should be and a good role model of a man of God. He is like the fun uncle I never had. Adam helped me clean out glass from my car when it got broken into, he helped me get to a funeral in San Diego, his list of kindness goes on and on. As his kids grew older and he got married to the wonderful Kim, he didn’t need me to look after the kids anymore but made many efforts to continue our relationship. We’ve had dinners and game nights and he has always had my best interest when it came to a life partner and was thrilled when he met Travis and they bonded over whiskey and chess.

Mama Stella

Mother of the Bride

There are a thousand words I could say about my mother. She is a miracle. My mom has worked hard her entire life dedicated to her four kids all by herself in a country far away from any and all family. She was somehow able to raise four kids alone in the East Bay Area (I still don’t understand how), taking us on weekend adventures just to get out of the house and because she loves nature. My mom taught me my love for dancing, my ridiculous sense of humor, and the ability to cry at a moments notice. She still works as hard as she did when we were little and it doesn’t take long for people to love her within five minutes of meeting her. I would not be where I am, or who I am without this hero of mine.

Bill

Father of the Groom

My dad has been my eternal sports coach, and role model since day one. He is always one to offer knowledge and advice when it is warranted, and listen and empathize in the right moments. I was always copying him with many things when I was younger, as I'm sure my mother will tell you about in pain staking detail if you ask her. But that's who he was to me, always an inspiration and someone I looked up to and wanted to be when I grew up. Now that I am grown up, I will be forever grateful for everything he has shown me, and taught me about being the man I am today.

Melinda

Mother of the Groom

My mother has been a walking saint since day one. Crazy to consider she was, because I was far from it! My younger years were filled with many: 'Mrs. Quesenberry, we need to talk to you about Travis.' Even through my crazy and wild younger years, she was always there to love, support and keep me in line. Trust me, she deserves a Nobel Peace Prize for that alone. She has been my guidance on patience, empathy and love, which I plan to pass down to my future children. She has always been there when I needed her, and I will always do the same for her. You will find her wherever there is laughter, as she is likely to be telling an embarrassing story about me. I wouldn't have it any other way, and I am eternally grateful that she is my mother.

Adam

Best Man

Adam, my best man. He and I bonded over a shared passion and hobby of poker. We spent a lot of times in card rooms, at our family card table and with many talks about the game. We have a lot of talks of the future and present, as well as many laughs about the past. We will always be in each others' lives, and be there for whatever we need. Poker nights and tournaments, with a lot of laughs and trash talking incoming!

Ryan

Groomsman

Ryan has always been a goof ball and the class clown. He was always good for a gut busting laugh, and still is. He was the first to get me into video games, and we had countless airsoft wars filled with laughs, screams and yells. When Ryan has a passion for something, he really dives deep and completely immerses himself with it, which I always admired (foreign language being one.) A great role model and a great man I want to be around in the future.

Brandon

Groomsman

Brandon is the oldest of my cousins. With the timing of him growing up, he naturally became one of my baby sitters. We spent a lot of time together bowling, playing games and watching movies. He was always the first look and first impression as my cousin, and as a man that I had to look up to. If I could become half the man, and half the father that he is, I would be absolutely blessed.

Anthony

Groomsman

Anthony and I met during a summer in high school when we worked at sunset cemetery as groundskeepers. We went to a rival high school and both played football. The immediate bond of him trash talking me that he beat our team his senior year, and me having to wait an entire year to trash talk him about beating his school. A lot of nights at the fantastic establishment Gentleman Jim's in Vallejo, as well as other bars in between us. A loud mouthed Italian is really just the best kind of person to get drunk with. Great man, great dad and great husband.

Russell

Groomsman

AKA Rusty. I met Rusty through friends at school. We ended up taking a lot of classes together and his silly, goofy personality lead to many jokes and laughs. To this day, even when separated by distance, we maintain friendship by communication and video games, where we continue to joke and laugh. A lifelong friend that will always be invited and incorporated in any vacation and trip south.
