It was June 2019, his mothers birthday to be exact, both bored at work swiping on the dating app, "Bumble." She was reserved, he was very forward, completely "off brand" for both of them. They met the same day they matched online when Travis called Marcela because he was lost in the parking garage of the Movie Theater. They greeted and went to a bar in Walnut Creek to kill time before the movie where she couldn't stop talking and he just stared at her. As the first date proceeded they saw "Secret Life of Pets 2" because practically everything else was sold out.

Her best friend set up an "early birthday" surprise picnic at the Martinez Marina, a place we spent many a date night while Travis was living in Vallejo and Marcela in Martinez. As she walked along the path of the Marina, Marcela started collecting some of her closest friends along the way. Towards the end of the trail Travis was nervously waiting by the water with champagne and flowers, surrounded by people who loved us after rehearsing a speech he had written on his hand. They all laughed, cried, and celebrated with excitement for the future.

We want our special day to be just as spectacular, special and fun for all of our guests. This day would not exist if it wasn’t for all of our biggest cheerleaders throughout all stages of our lives. We are overjoyed to celebrate our story with you!
