Question

What is the aesthetic?

Answer

Outdoor formal. We ask our guests to be mindful of the elements as our wedding will be held entirely outdoors. The ceremony and reception will be set up in a grassy lawn area, but will have a few loose gravel and wooden bridge walkways to cross. While always fun to wear, we do not recommend any shoes with a sharp heel as you might literally get stuck in nature! The average high-temperature in May is around 82.2°F (27.9°C), while the average low-temperature is 49.3°F (9.6°C).

Question

Where will the ceremony and reception be held?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will be held at Cloth and Flame’s Creekside Canyon site located in Sedona, Arizona. Cloth and Flame is an Arizona based event company specializing in creating temporary venues and unique culinary experiences wherever you can dream them up. Due to the nature of our planned dinner and venue set up between two small streams, we kindly ask that parents of small children be aware of their children around the water. An activity tent will be set up for kids to enjoy during the dinner.

Question

How do I get to and from the event space?

Answer

Transportation will be provided to and from the wedding ceremony and reception site as parking is extremely limited. A shuttle van will pick up guests from “Los Abrigados Resort and Spa” and “Destination @ Oak Creek.” Please see below for pickup and drop off times. Los Abrigados Resort and Spa Pick-up Time: 3:15 pm Early Return Shuttle: 8:30 pm Return Shuttle: 10:00 pm Pick-up/Drop-off Location: Outside of Hotel Lobby Destination @ Oak Creek Pick-up Time: 3:55 pm Early Return Shuttle: 8:30 pm Return Shuttle: 10:00 pm **We encourage our guests to wear a mask while riding on the shuttle bus to and from the venue. Masks will be provided should you accidentally forget yours! :) Weekend traffic in Sedona can be pretty CRAZY! We recommend building in some extra drive time when traveling in and around Sedona.

Question

Do I have to RSVP?

Answer

Yes, Cloth and Flame will only be able to accommodate the guests we are expecting. Please respond by April 2nd, 2021. To RSVP, select the “RSVP” tab under the drop down menu and enter your name as it appears on your invitation to complete the online response card.

Question

Unfortunately, I won’t be able to attend the celebration in May. How do I kindly decline the invitation?

Answer

Please select the “RSVP” tab under the drop down menu and enter your name as it appears on your invitation to complete the online response card.

Question

How could the novel coronavirus impact our wedding?

Answer

At this time, we are moving forward with our intimate wedding as planned. We are following AZ State, and CDC recommendations for hosting small group gatherings entirely outdoors. Masks are welcome and encouraged. We kindly ask guests who plan on attending to be mindful of the health and safety of others in attendance. We encourage social distancing and will have sanitizing stations setup throughout the venue. While we would love to celebrate with everyone invited, please know if you’re hesitant about traveling at this time, or cannot attend because of health concerns, we completely understand! We will continue to monitor the situation in Arizona while working with Cloth and Flame to arrange our space and set-up accordingly. Please feel free to contact us directly if you have any questions.

Question

Can I Bring A Date?

Answer

Due to the location of our wedding and the Covid-19 precautions we are taking, we will only be able to accommodate transportation, food and drinks for guests listed on your invitation. If your date did not receive an invitation, we would prefer if it was just you.
