We invite you to join us for a formal evening. Please dress to impress in your finest attire! Men, grab those stellar suits (or tuxes) and ladies, dress in your most lovely gowns, dresses, or jumpsuits. Please no jeans or sportswear.
Our goal is to keep our special day intimate with choosing to celebrate with our closest family and friends. We are only accommodating those specifically named on your invitation. We appreciate you respecting this request and joining us to celebrate!
As much as we love the children in our lives, we ask that the reception be an adult only event.
The Adolphus recommends Black Tie Babysitting for all babysitting reservations for events. Should you be bringing your children for the weekend and need to arrange babysitting services for the Reception, please contact Black Tie Babysitting at info@blacktiebabysitting.com We look forward to having you join us for our wedding!
We will be having a plated dinner at The Adolphus. When we send out the formal invitations later this summer, you will be asked to select your entree preference and there will be options for those with dietary restrictions. For drinks, we will be having an open bar featuring plenty of liquor & cocktail choices.
Please see the 'Schedule' page for weekend activities and timing.
There will be a charter bus provided to transport people from The Adolphus to Prince of Peace on wedding day. The bus will leave promptly at 1:15pm CT from the corner of Commerce St and Field St (the intersection outside of The Adolphus). Otherwise we recommend using Uber, Lyft, or Alto ride share platforms while in Dallas or getting a rental car from one of the airports. All of the ride share services are heavily reliable within the DFW metroplex and both airports offer a variety of rental car companies. The Adolphus features valet parking and there is plenty of parking at Prince of Peace Catholic Church.
We will have a 'Welcome Event' Friday, November 8th from 4-6pm in the Social Lobby at the Adolphus. We'll have apps and cocktails and it will be a great opportunity for everyone to meet and mingle before the wedding on Saturday. We look forward to seeing you!
We have made hotel room blocks at The Adolphus (reception venue), The Westin Downtown, and have discounted booking rates at The AC Marriott (downtown), and The Residence Inn (downtown). Please see the 'Travel' page for more details and links.
Our Registry is launched and is available on the 'Registry' page of our website. We are registered at Crate & Barrel, Amazon, Target, and Zola!
Your presence is present enough, but should you wish to bring a gift to our wedding, there will be a gift table for your convenience.
The formal invitations will be sent out mid to late August after we have our menu tasting. Since we are doing a plated dinner, we need to have menu selections before we can send the invites.
We are still working to finalize when official invitations will go out, but we expect we will want accepts or declines by early fall. More to come.
There are tons of things to do! For any recommendations, please see the 'Things to Do' page of this website.
The average high in Dallas in November is 67 degrees (F). Dallas typically has beautiful falls that are not too cold. That is not to say that it couldn't rain or be cooler / warmer though (Thanksgiving and Christmas have both been 85 before!). So please check the weather before packing!
