Things To Do

The Hudson Valley has been our go-to getaway since we started dating. It is EXTRA magical in the Fall (can you say foliage?!). We're so excited to share a couple of our favorite places in the area with you and hope you have fun exploring during your down time!
Hike Mount Beacon

Hike Mount Beacon

Beacon, NY

Mount Beacon, the highest peak of the Hudson Highlands, offers spectacular views (on a clear day, you can see from Manhattan to Albany!). This is a moderately-difficult 4-mile out-and-back hike filled with history, ruins, and panoramic views of the Hudson Valley and beyond from the Mt. Beacon Fire Tower! (Free and open year-round)

Dia Beacon

Dia Beacon

3 Beekman Street, Beacon, NY 12508

Located in a former Nabisco box-printing factory, Dia Beacon is a museum of contemporary art with more exhibition space than Manhattan's Guggenheim, Whitney Museum, and MoMA combined!

Storm King Art Center

Storm King Art Center

1 Museum Rd, New Windsor, NY

Widely celebrated as one of the world’s leading sculpture parks, Storm King has welcomed visitors from across the globe for fifty years. Set on 500 acres of fields, hills and woodlands it showcases over 100 sculptures from the world’s finest artists carefully sited against scenic backdrops. (It's amazing! Go early and book tickets in advance!)

Stroll Main Street in Beacon!

Stroll Main Street in Beacon!

Beacon's Main Street is a charming (and bustling) mile long stretch with lots of unique shops, coffee shops and restaurants. We love strolling, window shopping and grabbing a bit at Homespun Foods!

For all the days along the way
