We’d love for everyone to dress up and look their best — but we also know how warm August can get! Feel free to skip the full suit if you're not comfortable, but please avoid shorts. Wear what makes you feel comfortable and stylish. Just a heads-up — the venue has natural grass and gravel paths, so we recommend avoiding stilettos. Block heels are perfectly fine, though!
Our goal is to create a relaxed, fun, and engaging environment. With so many different cultures coming together from all over the world, it’s really important to us that we break up the groups and help everyone get to know one another. We’ll do our best to provide key information in German, English, and French, but please note that to keep things simple (and avoid repeating our vows three times 😄), the ceremony and speeches will primarily be in English. We’ll provide written translations where possible.
If you’ve ever joined one of our parties, you know we’re all about making sure everyone’s well-fed and well-hydrated! 😄 Rest assured, there will be plenty of drinks and more than enough food to go around, so just sit back, relax, and enjoy!

Yes, there’s plenty of parking — but we’ve also got you covered with a shuttle service, so you don’t have to worry about driving. Check out the Schedule page for all the details!
Please arrive by 3:00 PM (Shuttle service is available from St. Thomas and Port Stanley — check out the Schedule page for all the details!) We’d love for everyone to be settled in before the ceremony starts at 3:30 PM. The party wraps up at 1:00 AM (we’ll need to vacate by then, but don’t worry — we’ll make the most of it!). We’d also love to have you join us the next day for a casual lunch at Riva Italian Restaurant. Check out the Schedule page for more info, and let us know in your RSVP if you can make it!
Lots of our guests are staying at the Comfort Inn in St. Thomas, but there’s also a larger Holiday Inn Express nearby. Both are about a 15-minute drive from our wedding venue. If you'd rather stay in a smaller town, Port Stanley has some charming spots like the Inn on the Harbour/Telegraph House, Kettle Creek Inn, and the Windjammer Inn. There are also plenty of Airbnb options in Port Stanley. It's just a 10-minute drive to the venue — and we’ll be staying there too!
We love the idea of speeches or wedding games, and we really appreciate the thought! 💖 If you’re planning to do either, please reach out to our wedding party first. Rain or shine, the wedding will go on! 🌧️🌞 We’re prepared for anything, and the venue has a beautiful covered glasshouse for our reception. If it rains, we'll move the ceremony indoors. Just a heads-up, you might have to walk through a little rain to get to the bathrooms - but we’re sure it’ll be a beautiful sunny August day!
