Beautiful, historic city park in the center of downtown Mobile. Also, on the second Friday of every month from 6-9pm in downtown Mobile on Dauphin Street, there is an art walk! This event showcases Mobile's visual, performing, and culinary arts community. We used to go to this while in college! It's a fun time with great vendors lining the street.
Great place to learn more about Mobile's history.
Mobile has its very own Battleship docked in the bay! She began her World War II adventures in the North Atlantic in 1943, then later that year, went to the South Pacific seas. She ended up in Mobile, Alabama as a National Historic Landmark and memorial to millions and has been open to the public since January 1965!
Want to find out some interesting history about the original Mardi Gras? Check out this carnival museum!
The original Fort Condé was built in 1723 by French explorers. Come here to walk through the exhibits to see artifacts and recovered archaeological pieces of Mobile's colonial past. Or, tread atop the fort walls to see unmatched views of Mobile's skyline.
Enjoy a round of golf at Spring Hill College!
Beautiful beach! White sand and warm water. Olivia grew up going to this beach with her family every summer. On the way down for the family trips, Olivia would stop in to see Spring Hill College's campus. Her parents would talk about their own college experience there. Very fun that Olivia would end up attending the same school and meeting her future husband there, too!
Great beach! Closest beach to Spring Hill College, so we went there quite a lot throughout school.
Known for the best hotdog and is also the oldest restaurant still in Mobile, opening in 1924! Rumor has it, the cheeseburger here inspired Jimmy Buffet’s “Cheeseburger in Paradise” song! Fun fact: Jimmy Buffet also attended (but did not graduate from) Spring Hill College. He met his first wife while there and they married at St. Joseph Chapel on campus (where we're getting married!) in 1969 :)
Our go-to cafe: amazing local coffee, good eats, great vibes, and right across the street from Spring Hill College. We made so many fun memories here! For food, Olivia loves their chicken salad croissant and Manu loves the sausage, egg, and cheese on a bagel with an iced caramel macchiato!
A favorite icecream-date spot for us! Been around since 1969 and Olivia's parents, who also met at Spring Hill College, used to get ice cream here, too!
So good! One of our favorites. Has a beautiful view, too.
Great Mexican food and where we had our first date!

Great Mexican food and drinks!
A local Mobile-based chicken tender chain similar to Zaxby's or Cane's.
