The Wedding Website of Dana Dana and Justin Mantineo
If possible, we recommend coming into town a few days early. Denver has an elevation of 5,280' and Vail is even higher at 8,022'. Altitude sickness is real. Fly in, spend a day touring Denver and acclimating to the elevation. Hydrate. We recommend not renting a car. It will be winter and driving in the snow is no fun. I-70 is not an easy drive especially in the snow, plus once you get into Vail, it is a VERY walkable town and you likely won't use your car.

I don't care about Denver or altitude sickness. I just want to go straight from the airport to Vail. This shuttle is about 2.5 hours and offers discounts if you book 3+ seats at a time.

$10 ticket direct from the airport to Union Station in the heart of Downtown Denver. This is a great area to find a hotel for the night if you decide to explore Denver.

There is a super simple bus transportation within the town of Vail and in between other nearby mountain towns. The Vail Transportation Center is the central hub that will be where you get picked up and dropped off for everything.
