Question

What made you choose Ireland?

Answer

Anyone who knows Chloe may be surprised to find the wedding isn't taking place in California! But after moving to Ireland in September 2022, it very quickly became a home away from home to both Chloe and Josh. For their wedding, they wanted to pick a spot that held special meaning to both of them, so there was no better choice.

Question

How do you pronounce Dromoland?

Answer

Druh-MO-land

Question

What will the weather be like in May?

Answer

It's Ireland, so expect four seasons in a day. But as we've learned, there is no bad weather, just bad outfits! Typically late May sits in the early 60s, with the sun setting around 10pm. We've picked the sunniest month of the year in hopes of great weather, but we recommend bringing a rain shell, umbrella, and layers just in case.

Question

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

All of the wedding festivities will be held inside the castle, kicking off with the ceremony in The Terrace Room.

Question

The dress code says Spring Formal - what does that entail?

Answer

For gentlemen, think suits and ties. For ladies, think long or midi dresses in spring colors or florals.

Question

How do I get around?

Answer

The best way to get around the west coast of Ireland is via car (see "Travel & Accommodation"). For ride share, we recommend using the app FreeNow. For wedding events, shuttles will be provided to and from the Castle and the Inn on Saturday and Sunday.

Question

What time will the shuttles run?

Answer

On Saturday, shuttles will depart from the Inn and Castle at 5:30pm. For the return, they will depart from Durty Nelly's starting at 9pm. On Sunday, shuttles will depart from the Inn at 1:15pm. For the return, they will depart the Castle starting at 11pm.

Question

How soon can I book my travel and accommodation?

Answer

Our room blocks are now full!

Question

How and when do I RSVP?

Answer

The formal invite will arrive via mail in January 2025. After you've received it, you can please RSVP directly on this site under the "RSVP" section by March 17 (RSVPs are now closed!).

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Your invite will indicate a +1

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

As much as we love your little ones, we'd really love to give you a night off. However, they are welcome at Saturday's Welcome Party & Monday's BBQ! If you're in need of a babysitter, Dromoland recommends: www.lmmcare.com Contact: MD Gearoid Email: hello@lmmcare.com Phone: 01 5241066 or 083 1704464

Question

I'm traveling to Ireland with my family, can they attend any events?

Answer

Yes! Families (including kids!) are welcome at Monday's barbecue. Please indicate how many additional people you will be bringing in your RSVP.
