Things To Do in St. Pete

Here are some of our favorite spots in St. Pete. We hope you enjoy them as much as we do!

Mullet's Fish Camp

3901 6th Street South, St. Petersburg, FL 33705

Fresh fish, cocktails, live music & a "Margaritaville" vibe. Eric says to try your fish cooked Bobby Lee style, while Mansie says Florida Man style is the way to go - but you really can't go wrong.

Trophy Fish

2060 Central Avenue, St. Petersburg, FL 33712

More great seafood, cocktails & Key West vibes.

Bodega on Central

1180 Central Avenue, St. Petersburg, FL 33705

The best Cubans in Tampa Bay!

Red Mesa Mercado

1100 1st Avenue North, St. Petersburg, FL 33705

Tacos, margs & covered outdoor seating - a perfect meal in our opinion! Also try its sister restaurant, Red Mesa Cantina, for brunch.

Ceviche Tapas Bar and Restaurant

332 Beach Drive Northeast, St. Petersburg, FL 33701

It wouldn't be a Mansie/Eric recommendation list without our favorite food to eat together, tapas! This is right next door to the Birchwood.

Cafe Clementine

255 Beach Drive Northeast, St. Petersburg, FL 33701

Inside the Museum of Fine Arts is a great little bakery/coffee shop called Cafe Clementine! They have pastries, a lunch menu, and outdoor seating. This was Mansie's Grammy, Hazel's favorite place to meet for lunch.

The Wooden Rooster

104 2nd Avenue Northeast, St. Petersburg, FL 33701

A great spot for brunch a very short walk from the venues.

Cassis St. Pete

170 Beach Drive Northeast, St. Petersburg, FL 33701

Brunch, bakery & cocktails across the street from the MFA.

Harvey's 4th Street Grill

3121 4th Street North, St. Petersburg, 33704

A St. Pete classic beloved through Hough family generations. Fish spread is a must try in St. Pete and Harvey's has one of our favorites. You also can't go wrong with any of their blackened fish sandwiches.

The Chattaway

358 22nd Avenue South, St. Petersburg, FL 33705

Burgers, seafood and a great patio at this St. Pete institution, established in 1951.

Green Bench Brewing Company

1133 Baum Avenue North, St. Petersburg, FL 33705

A St. Pete icon! Plenty of outdoor seating & space for kids, dogs, etc. to roam. The Postcard Pils is a go-to beer for sipping in the sunshine. Right next door to Red Mesa Mercado for a taco break!

3 Daughters Brewing

222 22nd Street South, St. Petersburg, FL 33712

Huge brewery with one of our favorite local beers (the Beach Blonde ale), lots of cornhole and other games, and live music.

Hawthorne Bottle Shoppe

2927 Central Avenue, St. Petersburg, FL 33713

Quirky bar serving craft beer, a huge wine selection & sandwiches plus covered outdoor seating

No Vacancy

937 Central Avenue, St. Petersburg, FL 33705

Trendy cocktail bar with great photo opps

Paradeco Coffee Roasters

111 2nd Avenue Northeast, St. Petersburg, FL 33701

Coffee, smoothies, toasts, etc. in a "Miami Vice art deco" styled space. Very close to the venues.

Book + Bottle

17 6th Street North, St. Petersburg, FL 33701

Coffee, wine and a bookstore all in one spot

Black Crow Coffee Shop

722 2nd Street North, St. Petersburg, FL 33701

Both the Old Northeast & Grand Central locations have great coffee and an eclectic, funky vibe.

St Petersburg Shuffleboard Club

559 Mirror Lake Drive North, St. Petersburg, FL 33701

The largest Shuffleboard courts in the world! On Fridays you can BYO drinks and food

The Dalí (Salvador Dalí Museum)

1 Dali Boulevard, St. Petersburg, FL 33701

The largest collection of Dalis outside of Spain. One of our favorite local attractions.

Pass-a-Grille Beach

St. Pete Beach, FL 33706

Mansie's all-time favorite beach since she was a kid. It has a laid-back, hidden gem feel. While Pass-A-Grille is Mansie's favorite, you really can't go wrong with any of the white sand beaches in Pinellas County!

St. Pete Pier

600 2nd Avenue Northeast, St. Petersburg, FL 33701

Large pier with tons of activities for all ages. Highlights include a splash pad, a small beach, tiki boat rides, fishing, a marketplace with local vendors, local wildlife education, and multiple restaurants and bars overlooking Tampa Bay and the downtown skyline. (The Museum of History, where the welcome party will be, is at the front entrance of the pier!)

Sunken Gardens

1825 4th Street North, St. Petersburg, FL 33704

Beautiful and historic botanical garden featuring native flora & fauna. Check out the flamingos & admire the tallest palm trees in the county here. Right next door is also Great Explorations, a very fun children's museum & science center!

Fort De Soto Park

FL

A beach/park/campground with an "untouched feel" and lots of Florida history. Mansie has great childhood memories camping and chasing fiddler crabs here.

Boyd Hill Nature Preserve

1101 Country Club Way South, St. Petersburg, FL 33705

Get a nature walk in without leaving the city. Great for bird watching enthusiasts, and you might even catch a glimpse of a gator! (Pro tip: Boyd Hill is super close to Mullet's and The Chattaway for a perfect post-hike meal)
