This is an outdoor event with covered seating available for people who just want to come and cheer, dress warm. Ellen's team will have veils, Manoj's will have bowties (provided).
Come play some games if you get into town early/live in town. We have the turf field rented and have the option to play ultimate frisbee/football/soccer/duck duck goose/etc. We will end with a very high-stakes game of softball to the death... do us part.
6:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Bring warm layers and rain jacket/poncho. Bring comfortable footwear if you want to walk out on the rocky beach.
Bus transportation will be provided from a few locations starting downtown (more details to follow). Come celebrate the importance of dogs as we pay homage to how we met. Yard games + dogs + food + ocean. What more could you ask? We will end with a cold ocean dip (optional) BYO towel and water shoes. This event is weather permitting. There is some covered shelter from the rain but be brave :P.
4:30 pm - 7:30 pm
Please dress extra warm for this event. Hat, gloves and many layers including a wind breaker layer will be helpful if you plan to spend a lot of time out the deck especially when the boat is underway.
We are chartering a large boat for out of town folks to have an opportunity to get out on the water and see some wildlife and beautiful scenery. There will not be any food served on the boat so plan accordingly. There is indoor seating but still some exposure to the elements is expected. There are also outdoor decks that offer the best wildlife viewing where it can get very chilly when the boat is underway. If you are prone to motion sickness, consider taking your anti-motion sickness medication of choice beforehand. It could get a little swelly depending on where the wildlife are hanging out. The timing of this event may change, but whatever it ends up being please be prompt so you don't literally and figuratively miss the boat! (Seriously it'll leave without you and we don't have any control over it).
