Our Story

Hannah and Manny met at Camp Orkila! Manny was a life long camper and Hannah was trying to be outdoorsy. They became friends by playing cards every evening (Manny would ALWAYS win).

After time spent at camp and then a season of long-distance dating, Manny made the move in fall 2024 coming to Anacortes to start the next chapter with Hannah and her cat, Daisy.

This was wonderful news for Daisy, because the love of her life was finally all hers. She quickly became obsessed with Manny, and Hannah happily accepted her role as third wheel in their love story.

On May 1, 2025, Manny took Hannah back to Orcas Island, revisiting their favorite spots along the way. Their journey led them to Cascade Falls where a familiar place became the start of something new.

In fall of 2025, Hannah’s sister gifted them the best engagement present imaginable, George. The true light of their lives, he is the perfect addition to their little family.

Although the couple worried about the two cats getting along, they quickly became best friends. Daisy grew more active and affectionate and George… well, George has always been perfect.

Also in fall, Manny began his educational journey, while Hannah continued her studies and started her neuroscience specialty. Hannah will graduate in spring 2027 followed by a move to a clinical site.

From camp days to island adventures and everything in between, our story has led us here. We are so excited to celebrate our love and begin this next chapter surrounded by family and friends.
