Savannah, or Tybee? Where to Stay

If you're looking for a beautiful small city with a gorgeous waterfront, award-winning restaurants, and tons of beautiful small squares and parks to walk through, Savannah's where you want to be. And if you'd like a laidback beach weekend, head straight to Tybee Island, which is right on the Atlantic.

Getting Around, and Getting to the Ceremony

Wherever you choose to stay, keep in mind that you'll need to rent a car or grab an Uber or Lyft to the ceremony and back again. (Overnight parking at the Tybee Chapel isn't allowed). Tybee Island's and Savannah's closest airport is, you guessed it, Savannah. There are direct flights from New York and Chicago, and other major US cities.
