How It Began

Our story all depends on if you want the long or the short version, but since It's our website we’ll choose for you. Case moved to San Francisco while Mandy was in Chicago for nursing school. He met two of her best college sorority sisters while he was at a sports bar watching a game, and they were at the sports bar, watching boys watch a game (shout out to Sharon and Maritza!) Case quickly joined their SF circle and Mandy's best friends back home became his friends. Over the next year, Mandy and Case became acquaintances and only saw one another in passing (Case likes to say Mandy gave him a few not so nice looks once or twice and Mandy holds true to the "that's just my face"). Fast forward, Mandy had moved home and just started her new job, Case was in the middle of planning his move back home to Arizona when they both happened to go to Dolores Park with friends. They sat next to one another and couldn't stop talking. He convinced her to hop on the Game of Thrones hype and then proceeded to give away all the spoilers! They spent the majority of the next few months together knowing that their time was limited before he moved home. After a visit from Case’s childhood best friend, Case realized he couldn't live without this amazingly beautiful, intelligent, hilarious, and most wonderful person he had ever met (totally his words, not Mandy’s…) and surprised her with the decision to cancel his move home –good work Colin and Julie! Not going to lie a few happy tears were definitely shed. Add in many concerts, album records played, hikes, oh so many coffee dates, breweries, nights on the couch watching all the shows and movies he probably doesn't want to admit to watching, video games he's convinced her to play, at home quarantine dates, trips away together, and so so much more and you have our story. It's just the beginning and we can't wait for the next chapter!
