In the summer, the park is a hotspot for families and thrill seekers alike. Quarry 11 features a sandy beach at one end and shorter jumping cliffs. NOTE: no lifeguard is on duty and all activities are at your own risk. Quarry 2 includes rocky high cliffs that many use for jumping off and great areas around for lounging with friends.
Spectacular Gardens Whether rambling through the winding paths of Munsinger Gardens or strolling along the brick walkways of Clemens Gardens, these gardens are a feast for the senses. The Munsinger and Clemens Gardens are open to the public year-round, from 6 am to 10 pm daily. Admission is free.
Shorelines of Brownie Lake, Cedar Lake, Lake of the Isles, Bde Maka Ska, and Lake Harriet, including the trails connecting them and Lyndale Park. A must-visit for nature lovers, this network of lakes (including Lake Harriet, Bde Maka Ska, and Lake of the Isles) offers biking, kayaking, paddleboarding, and scenic walking paths.
