Our first out of state trip. We traveled to Phoenix, AZ to surprise Tony's dad Bill for his 80th birthday! We met each other's siblings on this trip too.
4th of July up north. We all feel the same about being out on the water, just can't get enough.
Marisa & Sapphire's first time out on the Rum River (basically in Canada). Turns out Sapphire likes fishing as much as Tony.
One of our rounds of golf, we equally enjoy our time out on the course. Tony is generous in his guidance and patience.
Neon Siblings’ Day up at Sugar Lake Lodge. Tony fits right in with the Jechort crew.
Early on, we bonded over our love of our pups. Fun fact our 3rd date was at the dog park with the snow coming down.
Golfin' and Goofin' in Door County
The story of the sign is for another day... Tony surprised Marisa by proposing in Green Bay! This is where I sneak in a Go Pack Go ;-)
In a whirlwind October, Tony joined Marisa in San Diego over the weekend while she was out there for a work trip. Marisa lived in San Diego with her Best Friend & Sister Amy for over a decade.
Our first major purchase together! We both drove 10+ year old Hyundai Sonata's when we met. Here hoping this one lasts as long.
Tony & Jane joined the Jechorts for the annual lefse making! Norweigen, but really Viking, shout-out....S-K-O-L
The first of many family photos with Santa. The pups did great!
As if meeting, falling in love, and getting engaged didn't make this year enough of a fairytale year, we snuck in a trip to Italy. Marisa went for work and Tony joined, we called it our pre-moon.
On Christmas Eve we attended midnight mass at the Pantheon. Following mass, we walked the city (Trevi Fountain, etc). How surreal to bring Tony to the place I wished for him years ago.
Marisa’s nephew Nicholas insisted that we kick off the kissing both at our BEAUTIFUL engagement party!
We are blown away by the love and support at the engagement party. It made us even more excited for the wedding.
We kicked off Memorial Day weekend with our engagement photo session in the Brainerd lakes area. We had so much fun getting to know our Photographer Amber Bauer.
