We met in our freshman year Intro to Aerospace class at Georgia Tech. I noticed there were red-headed twins in the class, but honestly there were so many guys in the class, I didn't really pay attention... until the final project was due. We had to make balsa wood gliders in small teams and compete for longest range and most static stability. His beat mine and I was salty about it! Needless to say... I paid attention to him then!

Coincidentally, the next semester, we were both studying abroad in France through Georgia Tech. We wound up in the same travel group through a friend of a friend and off we went on dozens of adventures! My personal favorite, of course, was when we went to Interlaken, Switzerland. There, after a tumultous "summer jaunt" of a hike, we sat on a bench in the hostel next to the fireplace, and we decided to give a relationship a go!

This last fall, I took her on a "typical" date to Stone Mountain Park in Atlanta. It took a bit of convincing to get her to go (she hates paying for parking), but eventually I won her over. We hiked up the mountain, then went for a walk in the park around the mountain. I led her to the Grist Mill and surprised her with a proposal!

We celebrated our marriage through a Hindu wedding ceremony in Cumming, GA on August 9, 2020. Though the ceremony was smaller than expected with a drastic venue change (from Ohio to Georgia 2 weeks prior to the wedding), it was absolutely stunning and we are grateful to have gotten to honor Mahalakshmi's heritage in the celebration of our union!

We also got married again through a Christian ceremony in Sharpsburg, GA in Norris' parent's backyard on October 17, 2020. The ceremony was small, intimate, and beautiful, with lights all over the backyard during a ceremony at dusk. We are so thankful to have gotten to celebrate our union while honoring Norris' heritage.
