Holiday Tea at The Brown Palace
This has been on our bucket list forever! It’s a festive and well-loved Denver tradition—and as an added bonus, it takes place right inside our hotel. Holiday tea is served daily from 12:00pm to 4:00pm. If interested, be sure to book a reservation ASAP, this event sells out in advance!
Denver Zoo
We’ve actually never been to the Denver Zoo ourselves, but it was the first place that came to mind for families visiting from out of town. We’ve heard great things and know it’s one of our nieces’ and nephews’ favorite things to do! It also happens to be very close to the Botanic Gardens. If the weather’s nice, take the kids to check it out and let us know how it is!
Downtown Denver Rink
We know there’s at least one hockey player coming, so we thought this could be a great activity since it’s just a short walk from the hotel. It usually opens the weekend before Thanksgiving, so it should be open during our wedding weekend, but please check their website before you go to be sure!
Denver Christkindlmarket
Denver’s festive Christkindlmarket starts November 21st and is just a 10-minute walk from The Brown Palace. Think lots of people, handmade gifts, treats, and live music. And yes… it’s another fun Denver activity we haven’t gotten around to yet!
