Getting to the Gorge
The best way to reach Hood River is to fly directly in to Portland International Airport (PDX) and rent a car to drive the rest of the way. Despite being popular with tourists, this area of Oregon is still more rural and Ubers and Lyfts are not readily available.
Hood River is a 45 min - 1 hour drive from the airport.
