One of the very first date spots during Mandish's very first visit to Santa Barbara. This cool little science museum is great to pass some time and learn something along the way. Be sure to check the rooftop view of Santa Barbara here!
The Mission is a personal favorite of ours and a true historical landmark in the Santa Barbara area to learn about history and explore the area. Right across the Mission is the divine Rose Garden. During this time of year, the roses may just be little buds but when in season, it boasts a wide variety of roses. Nevertheless, it is one of Rosa's favorite pastimes to explore and enjoy the beauty and serene atmosphere.
If you’re into long walks, the Chromatic Gate (Rainbow Arches) is a perfect starting point for a long walk. Rosas’ favorite walk is starting at this location and ending at Shoreline Park. The walk is about a five mile loop and you are able to walk both the sidewalk or on the beach and feel the sand. Grab a coffee or smoothie and start your day off right!
State Street is the hot spot of nearly two miles of shopping, dining, and exploring all that Santa Barbara has to offer. Starting at the Arlington Theatre area and ending at Jeannine’s Restaurant by the beach, there is an array of different cuisines and local boutique shops.
