"I met my mom in November of 2013 and have been with her everyday ever since. It's hard to believe that we've been together for almost twelve years. We've been through a lot, and she has dragged me everywhere, including across the country. But, I'd have it no other way. I've always had her back and she's always had mine. I love her so much! I met Señor Kerwin in November of 2023. It doesn't feel like it's been that long already, but he is the best dad! He takes care of the pack every day and has only made mom's life easier since day one. He clearly loves her more and more each day. I'm happy mom has found her happily ever after. I do remember asking Mandie who you were. I had to ask the typical brother questions like: does he have a job? I was so happy to hear that she had found a quality person that genuinely cared for her and made her happy, even if she is robbing the cradle. I mean we all know you are only 25! That's good though, you will keep her young. I am happy and excited to welcome you to the family. I never had a brother to wrestle with, or get in trouble with... Mandie had to do that, and NO, I don't need to do that now. I'm too old for that shit. However, I'm not too old to rock a red suit with blue Jordans with you at the wedding. I can't wait to see the look on Mandie's face when we are in black t-shirts, with red jackets, and blue sneakers! But, you'll probably end up like me and not get out of the house like that and your wife will have to dress you too... Oh well, I guess get used to it. Welcome to the family!"

Friend Travis & Kerwin met at Kalitta when Kerwin first arrived. They worked in the same crew. Although they no longer work together they remain friends. Travis was the first to befriend Kerwin and show him around Oscoda. While there isn't much to do there, they like to fish and eat Chinese, although Kerwin is not a fan of Chinese.
