We met online, as many do these days. However, with Kerwin speaking Spanish and living in wee Oscoda, and Mandie living in the middle of the forest, what else would you expect? Mandie was about to give up on the whole happiness things.Too many frogs had come and gone, and she decided it was time to make a big change. When the house for sale went up next to her parents, she knew it was time to move. So, she put her house up for sale. Then finally enters Kerwin. They wasted no time getting to know each other. Kerwin fell in love with the pack of furbabies as well. He knew they were just part of the deal. He also knew of the plan to move an hour and a half back 'home' and was a) willing to help pack her up, b) move her, and c) stick around. He knew long term that meant he would have to move further from his job, and he absolutely didn't mind. He knew what was important in life. As both were getting older and had known too many awful experiences in life already, Kerwin knew Mandie was the one and she knew he was the one! The prankster that he is told her that he saw them getting engaged in a few years, but then just a few months later came the proposal (that Mandie totally screwed up) and viola, here we are!
