Downtown Prescott We've made many good memories here! Take a walk around the Courthouse Square, grab some souvenirs from local shops, drink delicious mead at Superstition, grab a coffee from Wild Iris, have a meal at Farm Provisions, Rosa's Pizzeria, Bear & Dragon, or El Gato Azul.
Out of the cluster of wineries in Verde Valley, we've only been to DA Ranch so far, but we've heard good things about Page Springs, Alcantara, Oak Creek, and Javelina Leap.
This is a small old mining town built into the cliffside with some shops, restaurants, and wineries such as The Clinkscale, Bobby D's BBQ, Haunted Hamburger, Desert Grave Espresso, and The Original Jerome Winery.
We've visited and hiked here several times! Beautiful scenery and plenty of places to grab drinks and food. Sedona Beer Co is one of our favorites. There's also Hideaway House, Elote Cafe, and Creekside Bistro.
A local trail that takes you through the dells (neat-looking granite rocks)! Small parking fee. 2.5 mile loop.
Try to get here early and on a weekday if you can because it can get busy! There is a fee, but this is a good trail to hike during the fall because it has plenty of colorful trees. There are a few creek crossings but nothing crazy. You can hike up to 7 miles (3.5 out and back).
Another well-known, scenic Sedona hiking trail. Short but difficult, 1.2 miles out & back. It's a climb up to the top but worth it!
Trees offer shade on this 2.1 mile out & back trail. Less strenuous than Cathedral Rock, but there is a little climb at the end if you want to see the view!
One of the most well-known trails in Sedona because of the natural sandstone arch at the end. Can get crowded, better to go early or later in the day. 3.9 miles out & back.
