We will begin seating at 3:30pm with the ceremony starting promptly at 4pm.
We will have lodging available on-site at no cost, and there are hotels near the venue. Please see the "Travel" page for more information and please let us know if you are interested in staying with us on-site.
The welcome event is casual! Just be sure to dress prepared for cool weather and have shoes good for walking on various dirt/gravel surfaces. The ceremony will be dressy casual. We’d love for you to dress up while staying comfortable in the beautiful mountain setting. Dress pants or chinos with a button-up, a midi or cocktail dress, a dressy jumpsuit, or any polished outfit that feels elevated but not overly formal would be appropriate. Blazers and ties are welcome but not required. Since we’ll be celebrating outdoors, we recommend comfortable footwear and a light layer for the evening!
Men's formal or dress shoes will be appropriate. Heels will be impractical, but flats and wedges will work! Many areas are dirt and gravel and there are some grated metal stairs, so keep that in mind when choosing footwear!
Yes. Alcohol will have a stronger affect on all of us, especially folks visiting from near sea level. Also, stay hydrated! It's easier to become dehydrated at high altitudes.
Yes, though keep in mind that alcohol will have a stronger effect at altitude. Compared to near-sea level, one drink can have the effect of about two.
Yes, there is parking available for all guests.
The ceremony site is outside near the middle of the property. The reception dinner is indoors, and cocktail hour will be inside and outside.
Bailey usually has days in the 60s and nights in the 30s in May.
The rehearsal dinner on Friday the 16th will be catered by Illegal Pete's, and we will provide snacks as well. For Saturday morning we will have breakfast food and snacks: fruit, muffins, Danishes, granola bars, etc. For lunch we will have party platter style snacks, such as veggie trays and sandwiches. Saturday evening will be the reception dinner.
Guests will need to use stairs and, in some cases, dirt and gravel slopes to get to different parts of the venue. Anyone that needs assistance can be driven to any part of the venue.
Not during the ceremony. Feel free to at any other time!

Smoking is allowed outside but prohibited inside any buildings.
It's the safe choice! There's still a chance this time of year that Bailey sees snowfall. It will melt quickly, but it could impact the roads when you're on your way in or out of the mountains.
