How do we get to Goa?

Answer

Goa is well connected with all major cities in India through flights, trains, and buses. We recommend that you fly into Manohar International Airport (GOX) in North Goa, as it is closest to the hotel. Once you get here, we will arrange for transportation from the airport, train/bus station.

Who will be coordinating the transportation to and from the airport / station?

Answer

We have hired a wedding planner who will contact you closer to the wedding date to record your arrival and departure details. They will communicate all details regarding transportation.

How is the weather in Goa during early Jan?

Answer

In early January, Goa has pleasant, sunny weather. However, it can get a bit hot and humid during the afternoons. Daytime temperatures are typically around 25°C (77°F), with highs reaching 31°C (88°F). Evenings are cooler, around 20°C (68°F), so it's advisable to pack a light jacket or sweater. Rainfall is minimal, making it a dry time to enjoy the beaches and other outdoor activities.

What to pack?

Answer

Other than your wedding attire, remember to pack sunscreen, beach clothing, swimwear, bug spray, sunglasses, caps, and flip flops / beach footwear. There are convenience stores located near the venue (~10 mins walk) if you forget to pack something.

What if we are not able to attend both days?

Answer

That's perfectly fine, please indicate the same in the RSVP.

Who do I contact if I have questions?

Answer

Our wedding planners will contact you closer to the wedding date to coordinate logistics. In case you have any important questions, feel free to get in touch with Kartik or Manasi!

Are there rideshare (e.g., Uber, Ola) available in Goa?

Answer

No, Goa has a taxi union and does not allow rideshare services. We will arrange for transportation between the airport and the hotel. If you need a cab service for other travel, the hotel front desk can assist you.
