Flight
Kahului Airport (OGG) is Maui's main airport. Most major airlines such as Hawaiian Airlines, Alaska Airlines, Southwest and Delta offer direct flights to OGG from LA, San Francisco/San Jose/Oakland, Seattle, Vancouver. If traveling from other locations, there are also connecting flights to Maui through Honolulu's Daniel K. Inouye International Airport (HNL).

Unlike rental car companies, Turo is a peer-to-peer car rental marketplace where you can rent directly from trusted local car owners. Turo hosts share their own personal cars, set their own prices and vehicle availability options. Car rentals via Turo range from $50–$75 per day, with Jeep Wranglers, popular for off-roading, starting around $75 per day. Most hosts offer free pickup and drop-off at Kahului Airport, along with discounts for rentals of one week or more. Other car rental services such as Avis, Enterprise and Budget Car are all located at Kahlului Airport. If you reserve a car through one of these services, you can walk or take the tram directly across the street from Kahului Aiport's baggage claim. ***Please Note: 4x4 vehicle is not necessary if you plan to drive up to the Haleakalā National Park Summit should you choose to site see here during your stay.
House Or Rental
If this will be your first time visiting Maui, we recommend staying in Kihei for the best experience. Kihei offers a wide range of accommodations—from beachfront resorts to cozy vacation rentals available on Airbnb and Vrbo. It's also home to some of our favorite beaches, local eateries, and easy access to grocery stores, boutiques, and water activities. One place we recommend is the Days Inn by Wyndham Maui, a charming oceanfront hotel located on Keawakapu Beach in Kihei. It’s about a 45-minute drive to our wedding venue at the Moon and Salt Farm. This hotel offers both oceanfront and partial ocean view rooms at a great value. With Kihei’s warm and sunny weather year-round, it's the perfect spot to soak up the Maui magic before and after the big day. To help you plan your trip, we’ve listed a few of our go-to spots under the "Things to Do" tab. Otherwise, if you have any questions feel free to reach out and ask us!
