FAQs

Question

Will transportation be provided?

Answer

Yes! Please keep in mind that Ubers and Lyfts WILL drop off at the venue in the afternoon; however, they will NOT come for pick up at the end of the night. If you are a local, we recommend getting an Uber to the venue, and there will be transportation provided back into the city. For guests staying at the Hampton Inn and Residence Inn, we are providing a charter bus to transport guests to the venue and back. The bus schedule is as follows (please keep in mind that we are still working out the exact times of pick-up and drop-off, so this schedule may be subject to change): From Hotel to Venue: 12:45pm: Pick up at the Hampton Inn & Suites 1:00pm : Pick up at the Residence Inn From Venue to Hotel: 1st Round: 9:00pm : Pick up from The Bradford and drop-off at the Residence Inn 2nd Round: 10:15pm : Pick up from The Bradford and drop-off at the Residence Inn Party Bus to Downtown Raleigh: 10:15pm: Pick up from The Bradford and drop-off at the Hampton Inn & Suites

Question

Should I attend both ceremonies?

Answer

Of course! We would love if all of our guests attend both the Hindu Ceremony as well as the Christian Ceremony. This way, our guests can experience both cultures. Please feel free to wear different outfits for the ceremonies! The Bradford house and ballrooms have changing rooms and bathrooms that our guests can use in between the ceremonies. We only ask that you do not use the Bridal Suite or Grooms Suite as our bridal party and family will be using them

Question

What Colors Should I Wear?

Answer

You are welcome to wear any color except for what the Bride is wearing. For the Indian Ceremony, the Bride will be wearing a red and gold lehenga. For the American Ceremony, the Bride will be wearing white.

Question

Will lunch be served?

Answer

Yes! A "light lunch" will be served in between ceremonies. A buffet-style setup of heavy appetizers will be on display for guests to munch on after the Hindu ceremony. Please keep in mind that these heavy appetizers will be of Indian cuisine and vegetarian due to religious tradition.
