When and where is the wedding?
Answer
The ceremony will take place on 10/10/26 at 4:30 at Barnacopia Venue- Polo, IL. The reception will follow at the same location. Please see our Happily Ever After page for full details.
Question
How do I RSVP?
Answer
Please RSVP online through our RSVP page by September 10, 2026. Please make sure to indicate if you have any dietary restrictions.

Can I bring a plus-one?
Answer
Your invitation will specify if you have a plus-one. We wish we could invite everyone, but we have limited space.

What time should we arrive?
Answer
We recommend arriving 30 minutes before the ceremony begins to allow time for seating and to ensure a smooth start. At this time, our ceremony is at 4:30 PM. Please see the Happily Ever After page for a tentative full timeline of the day.

Are children welcome?
Answer
We love your little ones, but unless listed otherwise on the invitation- this is an adults-only celebration. Thank you for understanding and arranging childcare, we truly appreciate it.

Is there a dress code?
Answer
Yes! The dress code is Semi-formal. We want everyone to be comfortable, but dressed to celebrate. Please avoid wearing white.

Where should I stay?
Answer
We are looking at room blocks at some nearby hotels in Dixon, IL. There is also some Airbnbs, Vrbos, and local B&Bs in the surrounding areas. You can find booking details and discount codes on our Travel page come the new year. Rooms fill up fast, so we recommend booking early!

Is there parking available at the venue?
Answer
Yes, there is a huge parking lot on-site. There is also a complimentary shuttle service being available between some of the hotels and the venue. Please see the Travel page for the listed pick-up times.

What kind of food will be served?
Answer
We’ll be serving a buffet-style meal featuring a variety of options of BBQ provided by Ralfie's BBQ and Catering in Ogle County, including vegetarian and gluten-free dishes.

Will there be an open bar?
Answer
Absolutely! We’ll have an open bar with beer, wine, and signature cocktails all evening. There will also be bottled water and various Pop options available. Please drink responsibly. Please do not drink or drive-If you are staying at one of the hotels we have listed on our website, there will be a bus scheduled to depart to those.

Can we give cash or a honeymoon contribution instead?
Answer
Yes- We will be setting up a honeymoon fund at Zola if you’d prefer to give that way.

Can we take photos during the ceremony?
Answer
Since we have an amazing photographer named Photos by Ariel; we kindly ask for an unplugged ceremony — please turn off devices and be present with us. Before the ceremony and afterward, snap away!
