Wedding Party

Meet our family and friends who are walking down the aisle with us!

Katie Goff

Maid of Honor

Katie is my chosen sister. In fact, we have been asked if we are sisters by strangers on multiple occasions, and if you know us you understand why. She is truly my other half (sorry, Andrew). If you need to find her, follow the laughter in the room, because she is probably the one causing it. She has the biggest heart and would probably walk on water if you needed her to. Everyone should have a Katie in their lives. I am so thankful to have her as my maid of honor and best friend.

Kaegan Maddelein

Best Man

Kaegan and I have been friends since highschool. I’m so impressed by his incredible drive and passion to accomplish his goals, whether it be writing, coaching a Quadball (formerly Quidditch) team, or creating a thrilling Pathfinder world (it’s better than Dungeons and Dragons, just ask him), you can always count on him to give it his all. I love how he encourages me to push myself and try new things (like running a 10+ mile Tough Mudder obstacle course, twice!) and believes in me even when I don’t. You can always count on Kaegan for an intriguing vocab word and to encourage you to give it your all.

Madi Scheessele

Bridesmaid

Madi and I have been inseparable since 5th grade. When we are together it is always an adventure. From Hawaii to Marco Island to Atlanta, there is never a dull moment. We have been long distance besties for quite a while, but every time we see each other we never miss a beat and laugh until we cry. No matter the distance, Madi always goes the extra mile to support me and everyone close to her. She is the definition of “a heart of gold”. I truly couldn’t imagine this day (or life) without her!

Pierce Mueller

Groomswoman

Pierce is my sister and I’m so impressed with her bravery and great strides in building both a personal and professional life in Wisconsin! I love her sense of adventure and how she’s always willing to challenge problems in the status quo. I didn’t know it was possible to be more into board games than me but she definitely has me beat! You can always count on Pierce for brilliant board game strategy and a level headed but firm stand against hate.

Angie Akroush

Bridesmaid

Angie and I met while attending the same dance studio. We grew closer after graduating, and her friendship has helped me through all the awkward moments and challenges of young adulthood. Angie is my absolute style icon and has an incredible eye for photography and artistry. She is incredibly kind and so very generous. Not to mention we are both cat moms and love obsessing over our kitties. On the big day she will be killing it on the dance floor and taking the best candid pictures!

Katie Mueller

Groomswoman

Katie is my sister and one of the smartest and most compassionate people you will meet. She’s kicking butt and taking names at Wayne State from engineering classes, to being an RA, to being a leader in her engineering fraternity Theta Tau. I love the way she radically cares for the downtrodden whether it be standing up to a bully, doing service in her community, or speaking up for people on the other side of the world. You can always count on Katie for the warmest greeting and an impassioned stand against bigotry.

Carson Kriewall

Bridesman

Carson is my little brother, occasional pain in the neck, and one of my best friends. He brings the party everywhere he goes! No matter the situation, he can always find the humor in the moment and make everyone around him laugh, especially in the sad or awkward moments. Underneath all of the jokes is a truly caring, hard-working, and compassionate young man who would do anything for his family. I’m so grateful he is my bridesman and my brother. If you’re looking for someone to sing along to Creed, talk about golf or soccer, or impersonate Tony Soprano with, look no further.

Joe Mueller

Groomsman

My brother Joe might seem like a person of few words but you can always count on him for an in depth conversation about topics like sci-fi, semantics, engineering, outer space, Dungeons & Dragons, and so many more. I’m so proud of the young man he has become from all the school and Robotics accomplishments (don’t tell him I said this but he was much better at FIRST Robotics than me) to the great community he’s part of in his engineering fraternity Theta Tau at Wayne State. You can always count on Joe for an insightful comment and some top notch deadpan humor.

Jack Green

Bridesman

Jack is my youngest brother! Even though he’s the youngest, often he feels like the wisest. He has taught me to let go of the insignificant things and focus on what matters during difficult times. If everyone were as kind, funny, cool, and true to themselves as Jack, the world would be a lot better place. I’m so incredibly proud of the young man he has become. I’m so lucky that I get to be his big sister. If you’re looking to talk about WWE, superheros, vintage video games, and comics Jack is your guy!

Sean Roarty

Groomsman

Sean and I have been friends since highschool. He is the nicest, most selfless guy you’ll meet. He always goes out of his way to make everyone feel welcome and valued. Sean enjoys traveling especially to visit his ancestral homeland in Ireland. I love the way Sean’s story telling at the D&D table really makes us feel like we’ve been transported back in time. You can always count on Sean for shenanigans at the game table and a welcoming conversation.

Austin Mitchell

Groomsman

Austin and I have been friends since highschool. I appreciate how he always makes me feel welcome whether it be staying late talking by the fire at his grad party, inviting me to stay at his brother’s place for GenCon, or just in everyday moments around the game table. I love the rabbit holes we go down together discussing things from mythology, to video game physics, to Magic the Gathering combos. You can always count on Austin for a funny reference and to be there for his friends and family.

Stephen Hansknecht

Groomsman

Stephen and I have been friends since highschool. I love Stephen’s creative storytelling from the stage in highschool to the Dungeons and Dragons table today, he always keeps me on my toes with the in-depth characters he brings to life. I hope that the students that have Stephen as their teacher, Robotics coach, and/or theater director know how lucky they are because I have no doubt he’s the coolest teacher ever. You can always count on Stephen for even more shenanigans at the game table and a warm smile.

Evan Murphy

Groomsman

Evan and I have been friends since highschool and he’s one of the most caring people I know. His quick witted humor never fails to get a laugh from the whole group. Evan enjoys traveling and I had such a great time traveling with him and Sean to visit Kaegan in Germany a handful of years ago. I was so impressed with the way Evan led us through the public transit like he lived there, I would’ve been so lost. The most impressive part was putting up with me after the 3 of us had been in a cramped hotel room for a week. You can always count on Evan for a funny sarcastic comment and a great hug.
