Matron of Honor
Susan is my big sister, built-in best friend, and now my matron of honor. Growing up eight years apart meant we were never in the same school or life stage — but that never stopped her from showing up for me in every way that matters. From orchestrating legendary childhood birthday treasure hunts to texting me through adult meltdowns (and wedding planning chaos), she’s always known exactly how to be there. Susan is brilliant, hilarious, wildly loyal, and the person I trust most to tell me if there’s food in my teeth. I couldn’t imagine saying “I do” without her standing beside me.
Best Man
As the best man and fellow Temple Owl, I am honored and thrilled to have my little brother Jack standing with us as we begin our life together. Jack is currently living in Glasgow, Scotland, and will be crossing the Atlantic to join me at my bachelor party and Annie and I for our big day in October. Bonded by a love of our favorite video game series Halo and a childhood filled with camping, Thomas the Tank Engine, and bunk beds, I could not have wished for a better brother to grow up with. Jack’s determination and resilience in taking on new challenges and opportunities is a quality that should inspire all, and I am especially proud to have him as my best man.
Bridesmaid
Emma is Dylan’s sister, and soon to be my sister-in-law. From the very beginning, she’s made me feel right at home in all things Harrison, including an incredible trip to Erie to see the solar eclipse. She’s effortlessly cool, deeply kind, and always thinking of others in the most thoughtful ways. Watching her and Cory navigate marriage with both strength and playfulness has been a quiet masterclass in partnership for Dylan and me. I’m incredibly lucky to be joining a family that includes her, and I’m so honored to have her standing with me. I can’t wait to officially call her my sister.
Groomsman
Soon-to-be second-newest addition to the family, Cory is married to my sister, Emma. I had the privilege of standing by them in their wedding in 2022 as a Bridesman, and now Cory (and Emma) are returning the favor. Cory has integrated seamlessly into the Harrison family dynamic, and it's nice to be the younger brother for a change. A fellow former Hempfield Marching Knight, he has built a brilliant career as a performer and educator in the Lancaster music scene. Cory has always been a guy you want on your team, as he is talented, calm, and always ready with a great story. We’re lucky to have him in the family.
Bridesmaid
Logan and I met at Temple University, where we bonded over harmonies and the potential of a McDonald's trip for late night McFlurries after rehearsals in Singchronize a cappella. Since then, she’s become one of the most steadfast, inspiring people in my life. No matter what life has thrown my way, she has been there not only as a shoulder to cry on, but also to tell me to get up, dust off, and conquer whatever challenge I'm facing. Logan is a pillar of strength and a true girls’ girl — the kind of woman who lifts others up and teaches by example what it means to lead with both power and compassion. I was honored to stand by her side on her wedding day, and I feel so lucky to have her standing by mine.
Groomsman
Kyle is one of our dearest friends, so much so that there was a (mostly) friendly debate over which side of the aisle he’d stand on. Kyle has been central to both of our lives since our days in the Temple University Diamond Marching Band, where all three of us played mellophone. Annie and Kyle became close friends a year before I entered the picture, and Kyle was the very first to predict that we might just end up together forever. Over the past 11 years, he’s been there for every major chapter. His influence, support, and heart are part of our story, and we truly couldn’t imagine a Malmud-Harrison wedding without him.
Bridesmaid
Caitlin and I met at work, but we bonded instantly — and pretty quickly, she became one of the most important people in my life. She’s my concert buddy for everything from the Jonas Brothers to Greta Van Fleet (+ she’s always down to join me and Dylan, whether it’s a basement show or an arena tour.) She's my errand-running partner, and the friend I can count on for everything from spontaneous brunch plans to heartfelt talks about anything and everything. She’s living proof that you can make soul-friendships in adulthood (yes, even with Rangers fans,) and I’m so lucky to have her by my side for this day and so many others.
Groomsman
Iain and I were randomly assigned as roommates in the best dorm on Temple’s campus, Peabody Hall. We became fast friends – this random pairing turned into four years and nine apartment moves together, and a friendship that stuck well beyond graduation. We still often catch up about our daily lives, however now conversations happen over the phone rather than the five feet between twin beds in a cinderblock lodging, and we never miss an opportunity to grab a drink like the old days when we find ourselves in Philly or Boston. Iain is coming in from Massachusetts for the wedding; he’s been there for a lot of chapters, and now he’s part of this one, too.
Bridesmaid
Olivia and I have been best friends since third grade — from traveling around the country for Odyssey of the Mind competitions to phone calls across time zones; from childhood adventures to grown-up travels, we’ve truly done life together. No matter the distance or time apart, we always pick up right where we left off. I had the joy and honor of officiating her wedding, and I'm thrilled to have her here with me for mine. She and her three sisters have graciously welcomed me as the honorary “fifth O’Hagan sister” (a title I wear proudly). She is loyal, hilarious, and always up for an adventure — and I couldn’t imagine this day without her by my side.
Groomsman
Andrew and I met as young french horn players in the Centerville Elementary School band, and have since shared a plethora of lived experiences. In addition to playing french horn together in at least four ensembles, we also marched mellophone together at Hempfield and Temple, and even worked together as pharmacy techs at Wiley’s in Lancaster, PA. We share a fascination with history, a compulsion that manifests as a love for Sid Meier’s Civilization Series and listening to hours of Dan Carlin’s resonant voice narrating the Hardcore History Podcast. We’ve known each other for decades at this point, and not much has changed: still great friends, still playing music (at least once a year), and still showing up for life’s biggest moments.
