We kindly ask that you plan on being at the Church by 1 PM. Parking is limited in Mt. Adams, so please give yourself enough time to park and make it to the Church!
Parking at the church is extremely limited and will be reserved for immediate family. We strongly recommend taking an Uber from your hotel. Alternatively, you can park at the nearby garage located at 1111 St. Gregory St. This garage has a limited number of parking spots and charges $5 per day. It is approximately a five-minute walk from the church. Street parking is also available in the surrounding area. Please arrive with plenty of time to find parking and be seated. Good news! Parking at the reception venue is plentiful and free. You are welcome to park at the Bell Event Centre and take an Uber or carpool to the church. Parking is available for the entire day at the Bell Event Centre. You are also allowed to leave your car overnight, provided you move it by 10 AM the following day.
Welcome to the Catholic Gap! We will not be seeing each other before the ceremony (your first time seeing the bride is Robby's first time seeing the bride!), and therefore, we will be doing pictures with family, the bridal party, and each other after the ceremony until the cocktail hour! We recommend using our "Things to do" tab for activity ideas for this time, going to a nearby bar, or taking a nap! Cincinnati is used to the Catholic Gap, so nobody will look at you funny for being dressed formally at a dive bar ;)
Yes! While it’s not an official after-party, we’d love to keep the celebration going. After our grand exit, we will walk over to Pins, a Cincinnati staple bar with duckpin bowling, pinball machines, bocce, dancing, and other games. Just a 6-minute walk from the venue. Walk with us and keep the party going!
We kindly request that our wedding guests dress tastefully and elegantly to honor the sanctity of the Catholic mass. Your thoughtful attire will contribute to the beauty and reverence of our special day. For Women: Please wear elegant dresses or formal cocktail attire. For Men: Please wear a suit. Tie optional. Note: No jeans, T-shirts, or other casual clothing (e.g., sneakers, flip-flops, informal footwear)
You may have noticed a unique symbol on our wedding invitation: the intertwined initials "M" and "R" with the "Auspice Maria." The Auspice Maria is a traditional Catholic monogram that translates to "Under the Protection of Mary." It symbolizes devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary and her role as a loving intercessor and protector. We entrust our marriage to Mary, confident that she will guide us to Jesus at the foot of the cross as we strive to live out the sacrament of marriage and help each other reach Heaven. The intertwining of our initials, "M" and "R," represents the union of our lives under Mary’s protection. This design honors Our Lady’s intercession and reflects the central role of our Catholic faith in our lives and the vows we will exchange on our wedding day. If you’re curious about Catholic wedding traditions or the meaning behind any part of our celebration, we’d love to share more with you!
Nope! Our welcome party, hotels, church, and venue are all within walking distance or are a short Uber from one another.
Due to limited venue capacity, we can only accommodate the number of guests listed on your invitation. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to celebrating with you!
This is a child-free wedding, and we encourage you to enjoy a night of celebration by arranging for a babysitter. If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to Robby or Mallory. We're here to assist you in any way we can because your presence means the world to us!
