Through the choir, they developed a great relationship that has changed from friend to future son in law. And because Mallory is forever a daddy's girl, they could not think of anyone else better to marry them.

Maid of Honor
The bride wrote a letter asking Natalie to be her maid of honor, we wanted to share part of it with you all here: I’ve been considering what a “maid of honor” means. The origin for a maid of honor dates back to ancient Rome when they used to have a number of witnesses at a marriage to outsmart evil spirits that they thought would come and curse the newlyweds. I don’t have any evil spirits for you to ward off (except maybe the conservative Indiana politics in the Statehouse) but I do want to focus on honor. There is no one in my life that I would bestow this particular honor on but you. You have been by my side since day 1 and even though you won’t be standing up next to me, know that you have played such a big part in molding me into the woman I am, and the wife I’ll become. Thank you, not for being my sister, but for embodying a woman that I want to honor, want to strive to be like, and one that I want in my life until I die. I’ll always be here for you, and now, you have a brother with that same commitment.
Dustin DeMink
Best Man
Dustin is my oldest friend. We met over half our lifetimes ago, and during our teens bonded over many things, including video games, music, and board games. There were many years where we spent nearly every day together. I can say confidently that any skill I’ve attained in Catan and Chess are the result of playing round after round with this man (including the wrestling matches that often resulted). Over the years, Dustin has been like a brother to me, and I feel so fortunate to have him in my life. I’m beyond honored to have him as my best man.
