How We Met:
Mallory and Ryan have been rotating around each other for decades, but never met. They went to the same church together, were in youth group together...and might have played in the same youth band once or twice (he remembers Mallory during this time, but she um must have forgotten)...
But almost 10 years after high school, they connected again (or for the first time for Mallory!) in her parents' kitchen in December 2023 during a party after one of her dad's Christmas concerts. It's unclear who orchestrated the meeting, was it Sue - the mother of the bride - who had been sitting next to Ryan in choir for the past year? Or was it Mark - the father of the bride - who insists it was his foresight that sat Ryan and Sue next to each other and kicked off the whole relationship.
Either way ... Mallory is glad they did because once she laid eyes on him at the party, the rest was history. They talked all night, and haven't stopped since.
