Riverwalk
A great place to walk along the river and stop for food and drinks or just enjoy the view.
Museums
A lot of Chicago's best museums are all located in the same area, check it out! Gary's favorite is the aquarium, which also happens to have one of our favorite skyline views just outside.
Lincoln Park Zoo
This zoo is right in the city, and it's free! It's in the heart of the Lincoln Park neighborhood, which is a great area to explore with many restaurants, cafes, and bars.
Farmer's Markets
There are many farmers markets and street fairs on the weekends, any of them are a good way to check out the different neighborhoods around the city. Lincoln Park has one every Saturday from 8am-1pm (you could check it out before or after the zoo!) The website below can help you find different ones too.
Eat!
Our favorite activity. Chicago has so many incredible restaurants. Pick your favorite cuisine and let Google guide you! We also like to look at the Michelin Bib Gourmand list for some more adventurous options.
Divvy Bikes
There are bikes available to rent with a company called Divvy. If you download the Divvy app, it will show you where bikes are available and how to take them out. There are stations all over the city. One of our favorite things to do is ride bikes along the Lake Shore Trail. It is a beautiful way to see the city when the weather is nice!
