Kelsey and I have been best friends since high school. Our friendship started off with us hating each other, over a boy 😂 it’s something we love to laugh about! We went to the same college and as freshman were put in the same hall in the dorms, what are the chances! A couple years later we became roommates, probably one of my favorite times in life! We had so much fun together learning how to be adults. Kelsey has been by my side through literally everything. I was her maid of honor and now she, mine.

Nick Viterisi

Best Man

Nick and I have been best friends for going on 12 years now. Once upon a time, Nick and I were heavily involved in the sport of wrestling which brought us together as dorm roommates at Indiana University. We’ve been thick as thieves ever since then. My friendship with Nick is ultimately what led me to the northwest for a weekend trip that turned everything I have today.

My longest childhood friend! We have known each other since we were four! “ We fought like sisters” everyone would always tell us, and that is pretty much what we were growing up, sisters. Our friendship is one of those where we can go a year without seeing each other and pick up right where we left off. As our lives have evolved we somehow end up following each other to the same cities! I can’t imagine getting married without Colette by my side.

Andy has been a solid friend and mentor since my high school days as a member of team Indiana and him as my coach. When I started my education at Indiana University, my friendship with Andy grew as he was finishing his degree. Since those early days at IU, Andy and I have remained close friends.

Lindsey Lavender

We met in college when I started my job at the schools physical plant. Lindsey was my team leader on “paint crew”. I made some of my best friends during that job! From planking wars to falling asleep on bare dorm room beds, we made the best of it and our friendship grew even even stronger after college. Lindsey and I embarked on motherhood at pretty much the same time and we’ve grown so close going through this transition together. I truly consider her one of my best friends!

My best friends in life have stemmed from my friendship with Nick and Jon is a perfect example of that commonality. Jon and I met as freshmen in college in Bloomington. After my departure from wrestling at IU, I joined Jon at the Iron Pit and started lifting daily. Since those early days Jon has been a close friend, with me being a groomsman in his wedding a couple years ago. Recently Jon and his wife Amy loved to Portland, which I believe has everything with Nick and I showing them how awesome the west coast is!

Sister of the bride! If you didn’t already know, we are 13 years apart in age. We weren’t the closest while I was growing up, only because we were in completely different stages in life. But as I have become an adult I know what it truly means to have a sister. We’ve got each other’s backs on everything. She would be my one phone call if I ever needed it!

A few years ago I met David through another friend who was into archery. I soon found out that David shared my addiction to hunting and getting into the backcountry in September to hunt deer and elk. Since then, David and I have hiked quite a few miles chasing elk and spent a lot of shotgun shells trying to bring down ducks at Sauvie Island.

Sister of the groom! This sweet Indiana gal is my soon to be sister in law. Rebecca is hands down the best person to go get your nails done with. She is a perfectionist with color and shape and will make sure you leave looking your best. I can’t wait to have this girl be family!
