Mallory likes to say we met while camping, that isn’t false but Chandler tells the real story. We met on tinder, a dating app for those who don't know, while camping over 4th of July weekend. After chatting all night over text and finding out we loved so many of the same things we decided to meet up the next day. Our first date was at Crux, a brewery in Bend. We sat on a blanket listening to music and drinking beer for hours. We decided to spend the next day together as well, 4th of July and float the Deschutes river. Mallory introduced Chandler to some of the greatest things Bend has to offer, a ploy to make sure he stuck around. After July 4th 2017, we never went a day without speaking. Chandler lived in Portland, but traveled for work, taking him to Washington state while Mallory lived in central Oregon. The distance was a big hesitation but we decided to give it a shot. The best shot we ever took, it was so worth it! We beat the odds and here we are!

A couple months after Mila was born Chandler took us to our favorite spot in Sisters, Oregon to camp for the weekend at BX Ranch. We had been doing some informal wedding planning and loved our friends ranch for the venue. We spent the weekend drinking beer, exploring and hanging out by the campfire. Sunday morning we woke up in the Airstream to a beautiful Mountain view . While admiring the sunrise, Chandler made a fire and some coffee for us. In the exact spot we dreamed of saying “I do” he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him, just the three of us! The moment was perfect in every way, beautiful and intimate. We can’t wait for our dreams to come true and share it with you all in October! See you in Sisters!
