Our People.

Lauren Renaud

Maid of Honor

Lauren and I became fast friends during our freshman year as Phi Mus at Georgia Tech. We moved in together after our first year and lived together at the Plaza Palace the next three years, when she moved up to Washington, D.C. to go to law school at Georgetown. Even though we don't get to see each other very often, Lauren's my biggest cheerleader and confidant. I am honored to have her stand next to me as my Maid of Honor!

Kyle Rose

Best Man

Kyle and I became friends after I joined TKE in fall of 2011. Our friendship formed after many nights staying up way too late playing Call of Duty. He has a positive attitude and overly optimistic on life, which helps to balance out my realism. I know I can count on him to help when I'm in a bind and to take the time to grab a beer when I'm in town. Kyle's one of my best friends and I'm so glad he will stand with me as my best man.

Kayla Watson

Bridesmaid

Kayla and I bonded very quickly during sorority rush - standing outside in 98 degree Georgia summer heat was miserable. I didn't even know her, and before going into Phi Mu, I boldly commented to her, "I am SO sweaty right now." And then I wiped my armpits with a brochure (it was the only thing I had, okay?). Luckily, Kayla has one of the best senses of humor out of anyone I know and cracked up. We were so relieved when we ended up in the same pledge class and have been friends ever since. I'm so honored to have her stand with me on this day!

Michael Lelak

Groomsman

My favorite memory of growing up with my older brother Michael was our yearly week-long trip with our dad and grandfather to a cabin in Pennsylvania, where we learned how to fish and hike. I wasn't always the happiest camper, but Michael always set a great example for me. In our later years, we spent overlapping years at both St. Pius and Georgia Tech. I'm glad to have been able to grow up alongside such a great guy and having him as a groomsman is icing on the cake.

Hartley Hamilton

Bridesmaid

Hartley and I's friendship didn't start immediately upon joining Phi Mu, but infrequent hangouts became more and more frequent once I realized just how hilarious Hartley is. She knows EVERY camp song you've ever heard of (think: PEEL BANANA. PEEL, PEEL BANANA), and her animal noises are seriously on point. If you get the pleasure of talking to her, please ask her what a donkey sounds like. I was lucky enough to live with her during my last year of college and while working at UPS. She is so full of life and love and I'm honored to have her stand with me on this day!

Joey Weaver

Groomsman

When I first met Joey, I was so happy to find out that he was such an easygoing guy and a lot of fun to be around. After 5 years, I know I can count on three things with him: he's a walking encyclopedia for seemingly all college football games in history, he's tried more types of beer than I can ever even try to count, and he, like me, can quote an oddly large number of movies and TV shows. Joey's a stand-up guy and I'm so glad he's going to be my future brother-in-law.

Lauren Blessing

Bridesmaid

Lauren and I met early on in middle school but didn't truly become close until we were in the same chemistry class sophomore year of high school. We spent many, many Friday nights together at football games with DIY t-shirts, playing Salad Bowl, and experimenting with light writing while listening to Buy U A Drank by T-Pain. Although Lauren decided to pursue her undergraduate education at UGA (THWg), we linked back up when we both ended up at Augusta University. No matter how long we've been apart, it's always like we just saw each other yesterday. I am so honored to have Lauren stand with me on this day!

Chisom Odogwu

Groomsman

The first thing I remember about Chisom is how terrified I was of how tall he was when we played basketball against each other in middle school. We became friends at St. Pius and hung out a lot on the weekends. My mom would have to make so much food because Chisom would never stop eating. After high school, he went to UGA and was a gracious host when I needed a break from Georgia Tech. Most notably, we've been in the same fantasy football league since 2009 and are tied for the most championships. Chisom has been such a good friend to me over all these years and I'm glad he will stand with me on this day.

Clare Connors

Bridesmaid

I met Clare shortly after we started dental school in Augusta, and I didn't really give her any option except to be friends with me. We were each delighted to find another Catholic to hang out with and started going to mass together. Our friendship grew close quickly, and now I can't imagine having gone through dental school without her. She's the salt to my pepper, the yin to my yang, the sweet to my spicy. I am so honored to have her stand with me on this day!

Andrew Reed

Groomsman

Andrew and I lived together for three years in the TKE house. Somehow he still wants to be my friend even though he's not a fan of my eating habits or taste in movies. We shared many experiences in college, including our legendary spring break cruise (if you know, you know). He's always been wise beyond his years and set a good example for me. And one thing I know for sure, he's definitely the groomsman with the best beard. I'm thankful for his friendship and that he is my groomsman.

Caroline Page

Bridesmaid

I met Caroline years ago when she joined Phi Mu, but we didn't become friends until she became my roommate when she started dental school the year after me. We quickly bonded over our similar senses of humor and how it felt to be Tech grads surrounded by people from UGA. It was a serious blessing that she moved in - Caroline doesn't take life too seriously and forces me to remember to have fun every once in awhile. She has made these past few years in dental school SO much more enjoyable and I am so honored to have her stand with me on this day!

Taylor Bradley

Groomsman

Taylor and I met when we both joined TKE our freshman year at Georgia Tech. Even though I accidentally flipped a car on Taylor's ankle after beating Clemson, he still wanted to be my friend. I've seen Taylor at his highest of highs as well as his lowest - when the Packers were beat by the Seahawks (he makes sure to remind me about when the Packers beat the Steelers at the Super Bowl). We've shared many life events together like our legendary spring break cruise and I will be a groomsman in Taylor's wedding in October. I'm excited to have Taylor be my groomsman on this day.
