Flight

Cancun, Mexico

Cancun is the closest airport to Akumal and is about an hour away. Double-check that a shuttle from the airport to the hotel and back is included in your reservation. Be prepared to spend about an hour in the shuttle. There are a number of options if you need to locate one, most private shuttles can accommodate at least 6 guests so consider making a group and riding together if possible. If you are interested in riding in a shuttle but need a group reach out and we will do our best to connect you! It is recommended to reserve your hotel room before booking your flight as the hotel is filling up and we want to ensure your room choice is available during the dates of your travel.

Feel free to book your stay on your own though we advise utilizing the services of Justin, our group travel agent, to secure the best deal on rooms. We have booked a block of rooms with some availability both before and after our wedding date and plan ourselves to enjoy some extra time at the resort, the resort is all-inclusive so if it works for your schedule we would love to spend a few extra days with you! Rooms are filling up quickly so please make your reservations earlier than later. We have selected a variety of rooms in our room block, you are welcome to pick any type of room you prefer and Justin will do his best to accommodate it assuming the room type is still available – SO BOOK EARLY! Reservations should be made before July 18, 2022 when our block of rooms is released. Rooms are based on double occupancy, if you are traveling alone let us know and we can try to connect you with another guest who is also traveling alone.
