Yes, we know that many of your schedules will look different in January 2022 than in May 2020, so we kindly ask you to RSVP for the new January date. We will include new RSVP cards with the new formal invitations, which will be sent in the Fall.
Yes, we got married at a park in Pittsburgh, PA on July 3, 2020, with only our immediate families present. We are still going to have a ceremony on January 8, 2022, in addition to the reception, because we want to say our vows in front of our friends and extended families (and also because Malinda wants to walk down the aisle in her big white dress)!
Both the ceremony and the reception are at District Winery in Washington D.C. It's located on the water in the Navy Yard neighborhood.
District Winery is only two blocks away from the Green Line Navy Yard Metro Station. Coming out of the Metro Station, head towards the water and then turn left. It's the wood paneled building right on the water. Or, you can Uber or Lyft from your hotel.
No, the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception are all in the same place. Once you get to District Winery, you don't have to go anywhere else for the rest of the night!
YES! Do you really think we'd have a wedding without one?
As the venue is a winery, we respectfully ask you to leave the little ones at home and enjoy a night out to relax and have fun.
The ceremony starts promptly at 5:00 PM. The venue will open for “welcome wine” at 4:30 PM. Please be in your seats by 4:55 PM.
