Is there a dress code?

Saturday Evening - Welcome Party at the Surprise Garden: Casual Attire. Nice denim, sundresses, khakis, linen, button downs, polos, etc. Wear whatever is comfortable. This event will be indoor/outdoor. The weather in Vermont at the end of September can be unpredictable but is expected to be highs of 70s and lows down into the 50s. Sunday - Ceremony, Cocktail Hour, Reception: Black-Tie Optional (Formal Attire), Men are requested to wear tuxedos or dark suits, while women are encouraged to wear elegant floor-length gowns or formal evening dresses. We highly recommend wearing a shoe that you're comfortable walking on grass as the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception will all be hosted outdoors (weather permitting). Sunday - After Party: Wear whatever you want! You're welcome to keep the party rolling in your formal attire or change into something more comfortable if you'd prefer.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will start promptly at 4:00PM. Please arrive to the lodge lawn area to be seated by 3:45PM.

Question

I'm not staying at Basin Harbor but planning to come there for the events, what is the parking situation?

Answer

If you are staying at accommodations outside of Basin Harbor or are just driving in for the wedding events, there is plenty of parking throughout the resort. Your best bet is to look for parking in front of the main lodge and near the Golf Club.
