Why Tennessee?

Answer

With Malik’s interest in history and Ivy’s love for the Southern Charm, together they couple found that Chattanooga embraced both experience that best resembled their ideal wedding. The couple wanted to bring an experience that no one would expect - and inviting friends and family to a new location that the couple believes no one considers traveling to in the US was part of their plan. They wanted a wedding that felt personal, different, and perfectly suited to their individual passions. It was a wedding that truly captured their love story, while introducing everyone to a new location filled with charm, history, and warmth — a place they would remember for years to come.

What is the dress code?

Answer

We can’t wait to celebrate with all our favorite people—and we’d love for everyone to get dressed up for the occasion! The dress code is black-tie optional: ladies - please wear long dresses. Gentlemen - please wear a suit and tie. Once you arrive at the venue, you’ll see the vision come to life! Kindly, no jeans.

Can I wear White, Ivory, or cream color attire?

Answer

We kindly ask that guests refrain from wearing white, ivory, or cream in order to allow the bride to stand out on this special day. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to celebrating together in style.

What If I don’t RSVP on time?

Answer

Unfortunately, we will not be able to accommodate you if you RSVP late. We will need to provide our vendors and venue exact gust counts by a certain date. While we will send out reminders, as well as send out invitations, please be sure to RSVP as soon as possible. You have until July 15th to RSVP.

Can I bring a Date ?

Answer

We are able to accommodate guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one they will appear under your name when you RSVP. Please respect our wishes as we’re trying to keep our wedding an intimate celebration. Thank you so much for understanding.

Are kids welcomed ?

Answer

While we truly cherish your little ones, we have chosen to make our wedding and reception an adults-only occasion. Children listed by name on the invitation are the only exceptions. We kindly appreciate your understanding and hope you enjoy this evening as a special night out.

Can I change my 'Plus One'?

Answer

You certainly can! Please contact the couple to make any changes as soon as possible

Do I need to book my own travel and accommodations ?

Answer

Yes, guests are responsible for arranging their own travel and lodging. To assist you, we’ve included a list of recommended accommodations on our wedding website.

Are there group rates or discounts for accommodations ?

Answer

Yes, we’ve arranged group rates at DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Downtown Chattanooga to make your stay more affordable. You can find the details, including booking links and deadlines for securing the discount, on our wedding website under the "Accommodations" section. Please note that these rates are subject to availability, so we recommend booking as soon as possible to take advantage of the discounts.

Is there transportation to and from the venue?

Answer

Yes, Ivy and Malik are providing a shuttle service for pick up and drop off at a set location (DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Downtown Chattanooga).

Is there a backup plan if the weather is bad?

Answer

The wedding will continue regardless of the weather conditions as the space can accommodate rain or shine!

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes, we will be offering a full open bar for our guests to enjoy. We kindly encourage gratuities for the bartending staff as a gesture of appreciation for their service.

What should i do if i can not make it?

Answer

You will be missed if you can not attend out wedding, indecat your regrets on our RSVP tab so we can plan accordingly.
