Ivy and Malik’s journey began during Freshman Orientation at Anna Maria College. What was meant to be a simple event called Esther’s Dream turned into the start of something special. Although they had crossed paths before, it wasn’t until a bus ride to Skyzone that they truly connected. Ivy’s phone died, and Malik, sitting just behind her, sparked their first conversation, and from there, their friendship began to grow. Their bond quickly blossomed into something more. From late-night study sessions to spontaneous trips to Walmart, they became inseparable throughout college. By November 26, 2017, they made it official, realizing they were meant to be together. Over the years, Ivy and Malik’s love deepened as they graduated, traveled, became dog-parents to their Husky Skylar, and moved up and down the East Coast. But the most unforgettable moment came on October 7, 2023, when Malik proposed at his family’s beach house in Delaware. As he asked Ivy to marry him, and she said "YES!" After ten years together, Ivy and Malik are excited to begin the next chapter of their story, and they can’t wait to continue this journey with the ones they love.
