It was January 2020 in Mazatlan, Mexico. He had just arrived at Youth with a Mission to do a discipleship training when he saw her. He thought to himself "this girl looks pissed off ". She was serving the food, on her assigned cleaning day, wearing a mask (remember it was still pandemic times) when He came in all funny and goofy said "how is your day going", something very simple, but she as usual responded in a very short and direct way thinking "Whats up with this whiteboy being all kind?". That was the first conversation of the couple. But the one that really matters happened a couple weeks into the year. He has in the prayer room, having some "mate" and reading the word. She came into the room and saw two american boys, having mate with COLD water from the TAP. Of course her Argentinian self couldn't resist the necessity to teach them the right way. She confronted him without any shame. According to him "violently exposing him". But we all know how it is, when girls are mean to the boys they like. After this weird encounter, the two kept meeting coincidently in the prayer room at the same time *God's plan*. They had some affirmation moments with the word. He thought she was flirting, but she claims she was not... As she gave him a random origami swan. A couple months later they were inseparable. Lots of tacos and sunsets later she couldn't hold it no more, so she went and admitted her feelings for him. He was shocked that she liked him due to her not giving any signs besides the paper swan. We all know the bride, she hides her feelings all the time. A few weeks of praying and Isaac finally takes initiative at a beautiful sunset to ask her to be His, and right away he left to Arizona. After a year of doing long distance they got engaged and she finally moved to the States. The lord had his timing and now they are about to embark a journey with no turning back. Era Enero del 2020 en Mazatlán, México. Él apenas aterriza en Juventud con una Misión para hacer una escuela de discipulado cuando la vió. El pensó para sí mismo “esta chica está de malhumor o qué?”. Ella estaba sirviendo la comida, en su día asignado de limpieza, usando un tapabocas (acuérdense, eran tiempos de pandemia) cuando el vino haciéndose el lindo y pregunto “cómo va tu día?”, algo bien simple, pero ella, como de costumbre muy directa y de pocas palabras, pensó para sí misma: “qué onda con este yankee haciéndose el copado?” Esa fue la primera conversación de muchas. Pero lo que realmente importa sucedió unas semanas luego… Él estaba en el cuarto de oración, tomando “mate” y leyendo la Biblia. Ella entró al cuarto y vio a dos americanos tomando mate con agua FRÍA DE LA CANILLA. Obvio que todo su ser argentino no resistió la necesidad de enseñarles la forma correcta y, les “enseño” sin pelos en la lengua. Según él “un poco agresiva”, pero ya sabemos como son las mujeres cuando les gusta alguien. Después de ese encuentro, hubo muchos más “por coincidencia” en el cuarto de oración siempre al mismo tiempo (Era la voluntad). Tuvieron unos lindos momentos juntos leyendo la Biblia. Él pensó que ella le estaba tirando onda. Ella lo niega, aunque, le regaló un origami la primera vez que charlaron. Después de un par de meses eran inseparables, muchos tacos y atardeceres de por medio, ella no se pudo aguantar más y le admitió sus sentimientos. Él estaba en shock cuando ella le dijo que le gustaba, porque nunca había mostrado ninguna señal, más que el origami que le regalo. Pero todos conocemos a la novia, y cómo esconde sus sentimientos. Unas semanas de oración y finalmente Isaac tomó iniciativa en un hermoso atardecer en la playa y se pusieron de novios… unas semanas más tarde él regresó a Arizona y luego de un año de relación a distancia se comprometieron. Finalmente, ella se mudó a Estados Unidos. Dios tenía el tiempo perfecto para ellos y ahora están a punto de embarcarse en un viaje sin vuelta atrás.
