Wedding Party

Meet our friends and family that are joining us on our walk down the aisle...

Maleah Nicole Cooper

Bride

Christopher Bradley Hunt

Groom

Giulia Arcuri

Maid of Honor

Giulia and I were college roommates at the University of Oregon. I moved in with her on Valentine's Day in 2013 and we were immediately best friends. We used to have to face opposite walls while studying because we got distracted easily by talking too much. We spent many hours watching Law and Order: SVU, eating push-pop ice creams and we even have a written contract that she would be my Maid of Honor. Giulia convinced me to join our sorority, Delta Delta Delta and we bonded over being princesses.

Danny Brown

Best Man

I met Danny at my first job right out of high school. All I really knew about him was the guy was a legend for his fast car. We didn't really speak much to each other before ultimately going our separate ways. Years down the road I joined a Crossfit gym. In one class I reconnected with a friend I went to high school with, Aly. After a brutal workout, Aly and I were talking and she said "that's my husband over there." I looked over and I see, Danny. I walked up and asked him "did you use to work at Dicks Tires?" We both laughed and we've been friends ever since. Over the years he has become a brother to me.

Camille Cooper

Matron of Honor

Camille and I are first cousins (our dads are brothers). She's been there for me since birth, literally. She's three months older than me and we have always been close, from her wedding to her pooping in the bathtub as toddlers. We have an uncanny ability to win board games on the same team, dominate in Harry Potter trivia and read each other's minds.

Sean Suarez

Groomsman

I met Sean at East Ridgefield Crossfit. He's one of those people that, you don't even know when it happened but at some point you were friends. We would work out every day and that guy would always have me laughing. The first time I hung out with him outside of the gym was at a Halloween party, where he dressed up as Dog the Bounty Hunter. He had the mullet, leather vest, and all. He's the type of person who is not scared to be funny and get laughed at while also being super down to earth. He was my partner for the first Crossfit competition I ever did. It came down to picking a team name and I received a text from him saying "our team name is "Blood, Sweat, and Beers." I laughed and knew I was going to know this guy for the rest of my life.

Mary Dunford

Bridesmaid

Mary and I both studied Product Design at the University of Oregon but were in different graduating classes, so our paths never crossed during our classes but we knew of each other. It wasn't until my fourth year in Eugene when I was at my friend Jackies (another bridesmaid) house getting ready to go to the bars that we actually formally met. Jackie assumed we knew each other, but we just knew each other's names and had never interacted. We pre-gamed at Jackie's apartment, went to the bars, and by the end of the evening, we were all the best of friends.

Forest Bailey

Groomsman

I met Foreset at a family gathering. My cousin introduced me to him saying "this is my boyfriend." But by the time I left the get-together, he had already felt like family to me. It was easy to see that he was a very genuine person. Wasn't long before we were talking to each other like we'd known each other for years. Talking about guns, trucks, work, and our favorite whiskeys.

Jackie Flores

Bridesmaid

Jackie and I met in Math 111 at UO. We were taking an evening math class that was five days a week on the top floor of Deady Hall. Deady was a tall building without an elevator or air conditioning. In reality, we had looked up the professor on RateMyProfessor to see that he was hot, had an Irish accent and people seemed to think that he was an easy GTF. Math is not one of my strongest subjects, so I made sure to attend every class, take copious notes and always go to office hours, and this didn't go unnoticed to Jackie. At the end of a class one day, Jackie pulled me aside and asked if she could use my notes because she had a wedding to go to and would miss class. We exchanged numbers and began studying together. We had celebratory margs after our final and ended up with A’s in the class.

Scott Cooper

Groomsman

I never in my life ever considered what having a brother-in-law was going to be like. When I met Maleah, she told me she had a brother and a part of me got nervous. Having the opportunity to get to know Scott all I could think was "man, this guy is cool." It wasn't till after we spent almost all of Thanksgiving working on his race truck and then the rest of the night playing on my new virtual reality Oculus that Maleah had got me that the thought dawned on me, "I get to call this guy my brother," and I got excited. Couldn't ask for a better brother.
