Hi out-of-town family and friends, Travel in and out of Montana is typically a bit challenging, but it is especially challenging this year with increased tourism. We found out in early May, after we set the plans, that nearly all rental cars are booked in every major town in Montana. Any rental cars that are available have a premium charge well over $150 dollars a day. Of course we hope that you can make the journey to Helena and then Cascade, Montana for the big day, but we don't want it to be challenging for you. We will share a video from our ceremony with anyone that can't make it, and we will hope to celebrate with you the next time we can all be together! All surrounding Airbnb cabins have been booked for immediate family and the closest available lodging is at the Trout Montana Motel. The drive back to Helena, MT is a little over an hour for anyone that wishes to stay in Helena after the wedding celebration.

Unfortunately, there are not any rental car options that we know of in any town of Montana. We have already given our personal vehicles away to family for the weekend. “Turo” is sort of the Airbnb of rental cars—download the app and check on there periodically for vehicles if you need one. Hopefully folks will start adding their cars to the app for private rental as they realize the pinch rental agencies are in. Get in touch with us if you have questions!

Flight

Flights

The nearest airport to the wedding venue is in Great Falls. The majority of guests will be flying into Helena to spend a few days hanging out before the wedding. We live in Helena and can guarantee it’s more fun than Great Falls. Of course, we’re biased. Choose what works best for you!
