Maid of Honor
Hafa Adai! I’m Sister of the bride but people call me Sammy! I’m happy and excited for both Sarah and Joe as they start their new chapter in becoming a married couple. It’s not official until “.... you put a ring on it.” However , it’s been official ever since they’ve started dating. I can’t wait to meet all of you at their wedding! TIME TO PARTY!
Best Man
Joe and I met all the way back in 8th grade, but we didn’t start out as friends. I had just started school in Olympia and we met in PE. At first he just teased me, but eventually we bonded and became friends. We’ve been messing with each other ever since and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

I met sarah when I started my RN residency at Swedish right before she broke her ankle taking her dog out to pee in the middle of the night while wearing flip flops. She was out of work for a while but I noticed when she came back because everyone was confusing me for her. We started calling each other "Twinny" and "Sissy." People truly believed we were sisters, especially because we treated each other's as such. I'm so honored to be Sarah's bridesmaid and I'm excited to witness the happy couple tie the knot.
Groomsman
Joe moved in next to me when I was in 2nd grade and we became quick friends. We hardly spent any time outside of school apart. I consider him the best friend of my childhood. We developed hobbies together made friends together and I cant imagine my childhood without him. Joe was that friend that I told everything. I never had to worry about him judging me or feeling embarrassed. I am so happy for the two of you and am so glad you found each other. =)

Sarah and I met as freshmen attending Seattle University in 2009. As active members of the United Filipino Club of SU our sophomore year, we were elected as co-chairpersons for the club's annual event, Barrio Fiesta, which entailed a year's worth of planning this huge event -- our 'baby'. We were such a good team that "TFC: Halina at Magsaya!" is still the best Barrio Fiesta to date ;) Since then, our friendship quickly turned into sisterhood, and I truly cherish the ongoing support and love that Sarah has shown me through the good and bad times in our lives. Sarah and I will forever be true soulmates -- sorry, Joe! :)
Groomsman
When I moved to Washington, I only had a few friends. Zane had spoken about Joe a few times, so I had an idea that we would get along, but I didn't know at the time that we would be life long friend's. Joe and I hit it off at the very beginning. We both got jobs and Volt and would bike to work together and hang out at lunch. I would always try to force him to play hacky sack. I know Joe and I are the best of friends because we often go long periods without seeing each other, but Everytime we meet up, it's as if no time passed. I may have met Joe through another friend, but the friendship we built is our own.Interesting story. Once Joe was brave enough to let me buzz his head. I decided to give him a mohawk and even though he knew it was super messed up and uneven, he wore it anyways. And then the nickname JoeHawk happened.

I am lucky enough to he Sarah's future sister-in-law. We met obviously though Joe, the groom, being my older brother. I couldn't be happier or more proud of him for meeting and marrying Sarah. All I've been looking forward to is having her as a part of our family officially (she really already is a part of it). So I'm overjoyed to be a part of their special day and to get to watch their love grow and one day be an aunt ;)

I met Sarah through mutual friends in college and had recognized her as being in the choir in SU’s student mass. Since then, we’ve hung out and along the way became great friends and later roommates for 3 years! It was always fun whether it was doing silly things like making dance videos, cleaning the apartment (although that was more me haha), and venting about boys. And that’s how I learned about Joe. Yeah, there have been other talks about past boy-crushes, but this one was different. Joe was such a mystery, in all honesty, and it was because Sarah had a different smile on her face each time she talked about him. Sarah had met someone she was able to connect with, and be weird with; and despite the challenges their relationship had to overcome, it goes to show that this couple can get through life’s obstacles together. I’m very happy to be a part of Sarah and Joe’s special day, and I look forward to what’s in store for the newlyweds-to-be! Love you two!

I’ve know Sarah since our first quarter at Seattle University together. We bonded quickly since I found out she was from Guam and I grew up there for some of my childhood. We survived nursing school, living together, and working at the same hospital, I can’t believe the adults we have grown into today. Although i won’t be able to celebrate in person, I’m so excited for this new chapter of her life! Happy wedding Sarah and Joe!
